RWBY: World Conflict{Remake}

Chapter 1

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with a new story. I hope you guys are looking forward to this story! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY!}

*New York City, New York, U.S.A*

It has been about two weeks since black monsters poured out of strange portals that appeared out of nowhere. A total of over 500,000 people died in New York and over 2 million had died world wide. Central Park which used to be open to everyone was now cordoned off and police were keeping civilians from entering for their safety as the portal the beasts came through was in the middle of Central park. As portals had opened up world wide several nations were preparing to enter them to investigate the world on the other side. Scientists who investigated the portals exit had learned they are all linked to the same world but in different areas like on Earth. The world also has a nearly similar atmosphere to Earth and no signs of any harmful bacteria flowing in the air. After all this several governments set up military expeditions to discover what these creatures are and if someone is in control of them. So here they are the US Military and Canadian Military gathered in Central Park along with the newly formed Multi National Task Force 141 which consists of several NATO Members Special Forces groups. General Scott Mitchell the Commanding officer tasked with leading the US Forces on this Expedition and with commanding the Task Force 141 was currently chatting with General Grayson Tremblay the commanding officer of the Canadian military forces. They were going over the plan for entering the portal along with Captain Price of the British 22nd SAS Regiment and Captain David Fernandes of the US Army's Delta Force. "So the plan is that the tanks will be upfront and the engineering and comms vehicles will be in the back so if the beasts are waiting for us they can retreat back through while we clear the area!" Mitchell said and they nodded. "Sounds like a plan to me!" Price said taking his cigar out of his mouth. Fernandes looks at Mitchell. "Sir which vehicle will you be in?" Fernandes asked.

"I'll be in the hummer directly behind the tanks!" He replied looking at him. "Won't that put you in harms way sir?" Fernandes asked. "I used to be Delta too! I'm not going to hide behind my soldiers son!" Mitchell replied and Fernandes nodded and Price laughed. "No wonder Mac calls you a friend!" Price said and Mitchell nodded. After that they finished up the meeting and everyone went their separate ways to get ready to head through the portal. Fernandes walked over to a spot where he could see part of the city and was looking at the damaged buildings still being repaired. He then looked at the wall of flowers alongside one of the buildings to remember the dead and missing. Fernandes clenched his fist and if he wasn't wearing gloves his nails would have dug into his skin. "It's a terrible sight huh?" A voice said from behind him and he relaxed slightly and turned to see his pal Dusty walking over. Dusty walked up beside him and crossed his arms as he looked at the families placing flowers along the wall and/or crying. "Why did this happen? I mean yeah sure there's a lot of jerks out there but no one should have to be killed by something like those things!" Fernandes said and Dusty nods. "I agree with you Cap! Let's get over there and send those things to hell where they belong!" Dusty replied and Cap nodded. "Along with anyone who's responsible for them as well!" Fernandez replied and Dusty smiled and nodded and not long after that conversation Fernandes got into a hummer with a Marine Raider named Elias ThunderHeart or Grizzly as he's called. Fernandes looked at him. "You good Staff Sergeant?" Fernandes asked him. "Yes Sir!" Grizzly replied smiling and Fernandes nodded. 

The convoy of vehicles then headed into the portal and after what seemed like several long minutes they exited the portal only to find themselves in a forest. When they exited the portal they took up defensive positions and scanned the surrounding area only to see nothing around. "Area clear!" A soldier yelled. "Clear!" Another soldier yelled. Mitchell and Tremblay walked forward. "Alright defense teams take up positions! Engineers get to work on setting up the infrastructure as well as getting the comms systems up! We'll need to report our status to the other teams!" Mitchell said and everyone went to work. "Price take a small team and scout the area!" Mitchell said and Price nodded and gathered a team consisting of himself, Fernandes, Dusty, Grizzly, a SAS operator named Roach and another named Ghost, and 6 others. They loaded up into three hummers and drove off into the forest. As they drove through the forest though they noticed a small group of about 4 to 5 people being attacked by the same black beasts. Roach who was driving stopped the lead hummer. "Seems like they're being attacked Boss! Should we help them out?" Roach asked. "They could give some information on this world Captain!" A JTF2 operator named Joseph Renaud though most call him Thinker. "Right! Roach gun it! Ram the closest beast to the group!" Price said and Roach nodded and gunned the engine and sped off to the group just as a large wolf like black beast ran towards the group. Roach plowed the hummer into the creature running it over and after that he stopped the hummer as the other 2 hummers stopped behind him creating a wall of steel between them and the people the beasts were attacking.

Dusty got out and took up a position by the back of the hummer he was in and started firing his HK416 at the beasts as one of the people from the group they were helping approached him. "Who the hell are you guys?" She yelled at him over the guns now going off. "I guess you can say we're friends!" Dusty replied and the woman raised an eyebrow as Dusty didn't even look at her as he focused on killing the beasts. The group with her were just as shocked as she was by them showing up. Not long after the gunfire stopped and the beasts were all dead. Dusty looked at the woman who approached him to see a woman with long silver hair and light blue eyes. In her hands were two large pistols and she was wearing a black jacket with a furry interior and a white button up shirt underneath and black shorts with black tights underneath and black boots. Though the most surprising thing was on her head was two feline like ears. "Is everyone okay?" Price asked as Dusty noticed everyone in the group has animal attributes of some kind as well. "Yeah but what are you humans doing on menagerie?!" One said. "Well to tell you the truth we have no clue where we're at. How about we all calm down and exchange information and get to the bottom of this! How's that sound?" Price asked and the 5 animal attribute people look at each other before looking back at them and the woman with the silver hair and feline ears nodded. "Very well!" She replied.
