RWBY: World Conflict{Remake}

Chapter 3

{A/n: Hey everyone Roach here with another chapter. I hope you guys are enjoying this story. This chapter will be following the Task Force Sentinel and the Western Europe Portal 1 Expedition team. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY!}

*Paris, France*

Around the time the US and Canada were preparing to enter their portal the military Exploration team of the Belgian, French, Germany, Norwegian, and U.K Military were meeting near the portal and were preparing to go through the portal. The Commander of the U.K Military forces was General Zachary Macmillan who was also in charge of Task Force Sentinel. General Gerrard Holt is the commanding officer of the Belgian Military, The General of the French Military forces going through is Mathis Lavigne, The German General was named Walter Fischer, and the Norwegian Military general is named Daniel Hansen. They were making sure everything was in order before heading through the portal. "It seems everything is in order yes?" General Lavigne said and the other generals nodded. "Yes. I believe everything is in order." General Fischer said and then they immediately ended the meeting and headed to their vehicles and the convoy of Belgian, French, German, Norwegian, and British vehicles transporting several hundred troops headed into the portal. 

*Meanwhile on Remnant*

On the Island of Patch near the Kingdom of Vale a strange portal had appeared about 5 miles from the town of Patch where the inhabitants of the island reside. The Headmaster of Signal Academy Professor Shane Blakely was with the Headmaster of Beacon Academy Professor Ozpin, a teacher from Beacon named Glynda Goodwitch, a man named Taiyang Xiao Long, another man named Qrow Branwen, and 2 teams of Beacon Academy graduates. These two teams are team RWBY and team JNPR which consist of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long for team RWBY and Jaune Arc, Nora Valkryie, Lie Ren, and Pyrrha Nikos. "It's exactly like the one we detected in the Forever Fall Forest!" Goodwitch said. "What's causing these things to show up I wonder?" Weiss said as she looked at it. "I wonder where it leads?!" Ruby said starry eyed. "Ruby you are not entering that thing!" Taiyang yelled at his daughter who recoiled from the sudden yelling. "Aw man!" She said pouting. "Either way this could be a dangerous situation." Ozpin said and Goodwitch nodded in agreement and was about to add something when the portal started shifting and changing. "Something's going on with it!" Shane said. "Everyone get clear! NOW!" Taiyang yelled and everyone got clear of the portal. A few minutes after they moved away from the portal several vehicles exited the Portal. Shane, Ozpin, Goodwitch, Tai, Qrow, and teams RWBY and JNPR were surprised by this. 

They were now staring at at least 30 to 40 vehicles entering sitting in the clearing and it seemed that the people manning the vehicles noticed them and had dismounted from their vehicles and pointed weapons at them. "This doesn't look good!" Tai said as Team RWBY and JNPR took up fighting stances but were stopped by Ozpin. "Wait! They seem to be in defense and not seeming to be attacking! We might be able to peacefully work this out!" Ozpin said and they looked at him as Ozpin gave Goodwitch his mug and cane and started walking forward holding up his hands. "I am unarmed! I just wish to talk!" He said approaching them and as he approached 5 men dismounted from another vehicle and approached Ozpin. "Mind telling us who you are?" One of them asked. "Don't you think you should be doing that first?" Ozpin replied with an amused smile and one of the man chuckled. "I suppose you're right. I am General Zachary Macmillan of British Army and the commanding officer of the British Army forces here." Macmillan said and Ozpin nodded. "And I am General Gerrard Holt of the Belgian Army." Holt said. "I am General Mathis Lavigne of the French Army." Lavigne said. "I am General Walter Fischer of the German Army." Fischer said. "And I am General Daniel Hansen of the Norwegian Army!" Hansen said and Ozpin nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you. I am Professor Ozpin of Beacon Academy!" Ozpin said introducing himself. "Beacon Academy?" Lavigne asked. "Yes. It's a school set up to train Huntsmen and Huntresses!" Ozpin replied and they nodded. "What are these Huntsmen and Huntresses if you don't mind me asking?" Fischer asked. 

"Not at all." Ozpin said before going into detail explaining what Huntsmen do and when he mentioned Grimm Macmillan pulled out a Tablet and cycled through some photos from the attacks and stopped on the decaying husk of one of the black beasts. "Is this one of those Grimm you were talking of?" Macmillan asked and Ozpin nods. "Yes. I see you have met them." Ozpin said frowning and Macmillan and the generals nodded. "Yes we have. They were the first thing to enter those portals before we did!" Macmillan said. "Those damned beasts killed nearly 2 million people world wide in our world! Maybe more!" Hansen said with anger in his voice. Ozpin nodded at this as he had started looking through the other photos Macmillan had on his tablet. Ozpin frowned as he looked over the photos seeing very horrific images of dismembered bodies, blood covering the streets parents dead bodies over their children trying to protect them and many many more pictures. "We hope to set up peaceful relations with the inhabitants of this world if possible." Macmillan said as everyone else joined them. "Peaceful relations! Bringing what's obviously Military equipment here! Looks more like an invasion to me!" Weiss said. "Relax Miss Schnee! They have a very good reason too!" Ozpin replied showing her the tablet and her face went pale seeing the pics. Everyone else looked at them as well and to say the least it was as bad as some of the other jobs they've been on as Huntresses. That's when a Task Force Sentinel operator walked over to General Macmillan. "What is it Sergeant Gould?" He asked him. "Sir the Techhies got the Comms relay set up. They're picking up a friendly IFF in the area though it's fairly weak!" Sergeant David Gould said and Macmillan nodded. "Is that so?" Macmillan asked and Gould nodded. "I see. This is interesting!" Macmillan said and Lavigne looked at Ozpin. "Is there another portal in the area?" He asked and Ozpin nodded. "Yes actually. There's one in the Forever Fall Forest on the Mainland near the Kingdom of Vale." Ozpin explained as Goodwitch showed them the map. 

"We're currently here on this island!" Goodwitch said pointing to the island of Patch then to the Forever Fall Forest. "This is the Forever Fall Forest." She said pointing to it. "I see. That's definitely in range of of systems." Macmillan said. "We'll need to make radio contact with them soon. In the meantime Headmaster is it alright if we ask all of you some more questions?" Macmillan asked and he nodded. "Of course!" He said and after that everyone went to work setting up defensive positions around the portal and the comms systems while the Generals talk to Ozpin and the others.
