Chapter Name: An Attack
(Tw; Death/Graphic)

Nick slightly moved, waking up. The bright rays of the sun shined into his eyes, causing him to squint and groan. He looked around the mysterious room that he woke up in. The ravenette's head was still quite fuzzy for him to remember what happened the night before. He looked beside him, seeing a brunette fast asleep. The memories soon came flooding back into his brain, creating a harsh head-ache. "ugh..."

The brunette, who Nick soon came to realize was Wilbur, turned around in bed and stared at the ravenette. "Are you okay?" he asked. The younger male nodded, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. Nick laid his head back down, closing his eyes. Wil remained staring at the younger, a small smile on his face. The events of the night before floated around his mind. Bringing a bigger smile onto his face.

"How do you feel?" Wilbur asked. Nick looked up at the brunette. Not saying a thing for a few minutes. The ravenette hummed, mumbling who knows what. Wilbur laughed, knowing the young boy was too exhausted to completely process what was happening. The taller man patted the other's head, sitting up and rubbing his face tiredly. He stood up and left his bedroom, heading down to the kitchen.

Wilbur decided to simply make some pancakes with eggs and bacon for himself and the ravenette. leaving both plates on the table, calling for Nick to come downstairs. Only around a minute later, the small ravenette walked down the stairs tiredly. Letting out a tired whimper as he entered the kitchen. "Here, you should eat before we head back to your place."

"Why do I have to leave so early?" Nick questioned.

Skeppy might target me if I don't take you back home early. He's quite protective over you based on what I've been told," Wilbur responded.

"Let me guess, Dream told you, huh?"

"Mhm, now hurry and eat." The two ate their breakfast, talking about whatever there was to talk about. It didn't take long for them to finish their food and head back upstairs to change. Soon leaving the house and walking out of L'Manberg. They had passed by some of Wilbur's friends. However, the brunette had to drag Nick away from them before he got too caught up in their conversations.

The ravenette stopped in front of the mountain that led to the SMP. He was still quite sore from the night before. Wilbur noticed, knowing that the ravenette was going to beg to be carried up the mountain. And of course, arguing and begging would only exhaust them before they even make it up half way. Not even half way having to carry someone, probably less! Who knew why the founders of the SMP decided it would be a good idea to build their village on a HUGE mountain that took forever to get up to. It would've been fine if it was a smaller mountain.

"Wil-"

"Okay, okay. I'll carry you, hop on." Nick giggled, jumping onto the taller's back. Wrapping his arms around the brunette's shoulders. Wilbur held onto the younger's legs, beginning to walk up the mountain. Just as he expected, Wil was completely exhausted before he even made it halfway up the huge thing. The ravenette seemed to not notice his frustration and exhaustion. Letting out a satisfied sigh as he laid his head against the brit's back. "Oh you're going to get it next time you come over..."

"What does that mean?!" Nick yelped. Wilbur snickered, shaking his head. "You know exactly what it means." The ravenette grew nervous, yet excited. The brunette sighed, stopping for a few minutes once they did make it halfway. Nick only giggled even more at the man's pain.

After a while, Wilbur finally made it up the mountain with Nick still on his back. Which was now sore and in absolute pain. "Come on, I'm pretty sure you can walk now," the brunette said. Nick jumped off of the taller's back, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the house. The ravenette seemed to be happy, way happier than Wilbur remembered him ever being since the day he met the boy. "Alright, when will I be able to see you again?"
