Chapter Name: Back To Normal

Around two years had gone by. Nick and his family—along with the other survivors—had been living up the hill that they've found. Building bigger houses, bigger farms with more crops. Mainly recreating their old village, still calling their new home the SMP. More people had moved there, more survivors from the attack had risen from the traumatic event and found peace on the new land. Growing closer to each other; having a stronger relationship than before. Those around Nick finally began to accept him for who he was. They now saw him as a boy...not a girl. Something that the ravenette had been wishing for since he was 15.

The little girl who had come up to Nick that one day—when they were still searching for the land—had grown quite close to the ravenette. Always going to his house and giving him a flower. An orange tulip. His favorite. She knew a lot about that boy, even though kids her age were quite young to comprehend most of what Nick went through, the girl was quite intelligent. Someone so special to the ravenette, someone he couldn't even dare replace for anything else in the world. However, Nick soon came to realize that the little girl didn't have any parents, in fact.

Darryl and Zak had suggested for the ravenette to adopt the girl; after all, he was old enough to do so. And so he did, giving her a name. Limn. Before adoption was even suggested, Limn had lived in the forest. Growing up in the wild, having to live off of the crops that she managed to sneak out of markets in the SMP. She knew what happened to her parents, even though she was a toddler back then. Limn's father had grown sick, soon dying due to the lack of medicine. Soon, her mother simply couldn't take it anymore. Limn's face simply reminded her mother of her father, which caused the woman to end her own life. Something that traumatized her to this day.

There was one thing that Nick was impressed by. Limn was able to live all by herself, remaining healthy. Of course, due to the tragic events that happened when she was younger...former doctors—before the attack—were able to diagnose that small girl with depression. Nick was just glad it wasn't as troublesome as his own. Simply, he was just happy that he was able to relate on a serious personal level and help Limn throughout it. The two had been a new family for a couple of months, almost around a year. The two were inseparable.

However, every now and then Nick would remember his friends. Those from the SMP, those from L'Manberg. His twin..Niki, wishing that he had known since the day he met her. Wilbur. Of course, Nick and the others had hope that they would be able to go back. At some point throughout the two years, they decided to move their village somewhere closer. Although being closer, Nick, Darryl, and Zak avoided stepping into L'Manberg. Even though they wanted to see the others so badly. It was something that they weren't ready yet, something they believed they weren't ready yet.

It was obvious to the family that at some point they would have to go back. Bring back the lives that they had. Wanting everything to go back to normal. Changes here and there, but of course not serious changes. However, Nick doesn't expect that day to come fast. He figured it would take another few months or maybe even a year. Nonetheless, the ravenette was simply happy that he was finally bringing his life back together. Fighting off his dysphoria, feeling more positive than negative. Forgetting about all the problems that he had to deal with—with being transgender.

"Sapnap! Did Limn wake up yet?" Darryl called from downstairs.

"Yeah, just getting her changed!" Nick responded. Pulling a beautiful white, flowy dress over Limn's head. Untangling her short, fluffy, brown hair and curling it slightly. Her face lit up at how pretty she looked, almost as if she was an angel. "Oh look at you.. so beautiful." Nick smiled, placing a small kiss on her cheek.
