The pressure was on as the students started their finals. Though the written exam was a breeze for some, it was the physical exam that has some students wary.

Kas' pov

The class waited anxiously as Aizawa announced the ranking of each student in the written exam. Of course Yaoyorozu got the top spot but to my surprise I ranked 3rd overall, and V ranked 7th overall. That means where eligible to go to camp but it was quite decided yet, we still had the physical exam to take tomorrow. Rumor has it that it'll be like the entrance exam and that we'll be fighting robots but V doesn't think that'll be it.

I'm not sure what the exam will be like I just hope I pass. I've gotten a lot better with controlling death, and the fact that I'm also more confident while in death makes me feel like I'm progressing well.

Time skip to the day of the physical exam.

We where instructed to be at ground beta in our costumes by 7am, the sun had just risen and the class was completely silent at the scene in front of us.

There stood all of our teachers including our principle and All Might, all proud like the pro heros they are. This was the moment where we all knew that we wouldn't be going up against robots, but our own teachers. This was somehow way worse than any of us thought.

V's pov

I stood silently next to Kas as principal Nezu explained the rules as well as announcing the pairs and who they'll be up against. I was paired with Kas vs Snipe.

We ended up being the 3rd group to go so planning out a  strategy didn't really happen for us, and our knowledge of Snipe was pretty bleak. But none of that mattered once we entered the exam area; lots of tall buildings and plenty of hidden spaces. Perfect for sitting ducks.

We began to head straight to the exit and made it pretty close. Not one shot was fired, not until we got to the wide clearing. 5 shots where fired and where immediately targeted us. I tried to blow them off course but the bullets where able to dodge my wind making a b-line towards Kas. A rush of smoke flooded the open area, Kas appeared with only half a skeleton face and a sinister grin. She threw chains around us and shielded us from the shots. "To the exit V, I'll handle him" her voice is always darker and deeper in this form. Though this form still creeps me out I could help but smile, she's getting more comfortable using it.

I blasted wind from my hands to propel me to the exit. I could hear loud shots and the rattling of chains behind me but I didn't need to look back to know Kas was holding him off. Until a bullet scraped my arm immediately spreading pain throughout it. Still not locking back I flew through the exit with Kas not too far behind me.

We cheered and held eachother as we celebrated us passing. We heard Snipe congratulate us and we made our way to the viewing area.

We watched as the rest of our classmates either succeed or fail the exam and before we knew it, it was the end of our final. One by one we all switched out of our hero costumes and back into our uniforms then made our way back to the dorms for a celebratory dinner. The evening was spent eating and joking around with one another. Todoroki and I sat with eachother most of the night as we got closer.

Kas' pov

With finals finally being over almost all of us where very excited about the training camp we where promised if we passed. As we waited for Aizawa to arrive we talked about what we would be doing on this trip and how we'll be spending our much needed time off.

That's when Aizawa entered the room. He started off by congratulating those who passed a scolded those who didn't. This is when he dropped the bomb that even the students who didn't pass would be joining all of us to the camp. Iida immediately started spewing his speil on how we where tricked and blah blah blah.. I tuned him out. The class went into its usual chaos so I peered out the window.

"Someone's watching you~" I hear V's sinister voice ring in my head. I rolled my eyes and let my gaze wonder around the room trying to see who was staring. My eyes went from person to person, suddenly my ice blue eyes meet deep crimson but before I could even think Mina shouts, and both Bakugou and I jump at the noise.

"We should all go to the mall before our trip!" The girls agreed as well as some of the boys. I groaned and I hear V giggle already knowing that I'm going to be forced to go.
