I returned to my dorm room to clean up and get ready for school. Once I got there, I immediately took off my sweaty clothes and put them in the laundry basket to be cleaned later. I wiped off the sweat from my body and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
After taking a shower and drying myself, I took my school uniform from my closet and put it on. I checked how I looked in the mirror and loosened up my tie and unbuttoned my blazer to appear more laid-back to people.
I wanted to test the cooking skills that I learned myself from before I enrolled here, so I made my own bento. However, I have not yet eaten breakfast. I did buy those things called cereal yesterday so I decided to try it out.
I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and a carton of milk from the refrigerator and placed them down on the dinner table. I opened the cereal box and was greeted by a silver-colored bag containing my breakfast. I tore it open and poured the contents onto the bowl to the appropriate amount. I then poured some milk on the bowl and now my breakfast is complete.
I opened my mouth and ate a spoonful of cereal. My eyes widened, I haven't tasted anything like this before. The chocolate bits complement the cereal flakes and the milk just ties it all together.
That reminds me, I haven't tried ice cream yet even though. Even though I've been out of the White Room for a year now, I haven't really tried a lot of food that I said I would. Well it makes sense, I spent the past year basically studying on how to act like a normal high school student, that I forgot to try out the things that I wanted to do once I got my freedom. I resolved myself to buying ice cream at the convenience store after school.
However, I don't know what flavor I should buy. If I don't have a guide, I'd end up by one of every flavor and waste my points. Haah... I guess I'll just have to ask someone to accompany me on my ice cream shopping trip.
Exiting my thoughts, I realised that I had finished my cereal. I really do get distracted by my thoughts sometimes. But at least I'm still doing what I wanted to do, so no time wasted there. I got up and put the bowl on the sink to be hopefully cleaned later tonight.
I went to check my phone and saw that I had received a message.
From:Karuizawa Kei
[Ayanokouji-kun, do you want to walk to school with us?] 7:31
[By we, do you mean Hirata and the others?] 7:34
[Umm... Yeah! Do you wanna come with?] 7:34
[Sure, I just finished eating breakfast anyway.] 7:34
[Great! I'll meet you in the lobby!] 7:35
With that, I now have some people to walk to school with. Although I did find it strange on how Karuizawa mentioned 'I'll meet you in the lobby' instead of 'We' ll meet you in the lobby. Maybe she thought I won't come with her if she were to invite me alone. Well, I'll have to go there to find out.

As the elevator doors opened, I see a lone Karuizawa sitting on one of the lobby benches fiddling with her phone. Well let's not jump to conclusions, maybe she only arrived here first? With those thoughts, I decided to walk up to her and greet her.
"Good morning Karuizawa."
Once she heard my voice, she looked up from her voice and greeted me with a smile.
