In a rather sudden yet not surprising move, Diavolo announced to the student council that they would be creating a play to raise some money for the school.
Of course, everyone was rather reluctant at first, until Diavolo claimed that they would be able to choose the theme of the play.
Again to no one's surprise, everyone chose fantasy.
So here you all were, spending all of your free time on a play you hope everyone would soon forget, much too embarrassed about your role.
"Do I really have to play the hero? I mean...I think Lucifer or Solomon would be a better fit." You tried objecting.
"Solomon's helping with stage design, remember? And I'd doubt anyone would want to be saved by Lucifer." Satan scoffed.
"I know several people that would beg to differ!" Asmo squealed in excitement. Everyone groaned in annoyance.
"I am fine with my role as is...the fewer lines the better." Lucifer grimaced.
"Don't worry Y/n! I'm confident that you would be able to excel in this role! You're perfect for it." Diavolo laughed.
"...that's an understatement." You sighed.
"I mean...I've never been in a sword fight! What if I hurt someone?!" You panicked.
"Well, that's why we have rehearsals, duh! I'm sure yer gonna get this in no time! And if ya want, I could help ya out..." Mammon said, his cheeks turning red.
"Ah...I don't mean to be rude but, shouldn't I be the one practicing with Y/n? They are supposed to battle me..." Simeon interjected.
"What an excellent idea! Meanwhile, you could help the rest of your brothers with their moves, Mammon!" Diavolo smiled.
"Tch...fine! But if any of y'all mess up that's 50 grimm for me!" Mammon argued.
"If you so much as try that I'm making you wash dishes for six months." Lucifer threatened. Mammon grumbled in annoyance, not wanting to face any consequences.
"Then it's settled! Rehearsals start tomorrow, everyone!" Diavolo announced.
"I promise I'll help you memorize your moves in no time, Y/n." Simeon assured you.
"Ah...thank y-"
"But I must warn you...I am not going to go easy on you..." He warned. You swallowed, startled by Simeon's sudden change.
"See you tomorrow, Y/n!" He smiled as he left with Solomon.
You awkwardly waved him off, worried about how training with Simeon would turn out to be.
Maybe it's not too late to ask Mammon to train you instead...
The choreography was a lot harder than you thought it would be. Trying to remember your lines while swinging a giant sword around and dodging moves all at the same time was beginning to feel impossible.
Thankfully, Simeon decided to work on your lines and moves until you perfected them.
Which was also proving to be a lot harder than you thought it would be.
"Stop! This isn't like you! What happened to that proud and honorable man I had grown up with?!" You cried.
"That man died a long time ago, can't you see that? Now if you get in my way again, I won't hesitate to end you!" Simeon shouted as he pulled his sword.
"Then you leave me no choice! This wouldn't be...um...shoot! I forgot my line..." You muttered as you quickly pulled your script out.
"Y/n this is the third time you've forgotten a line...you need to keep up, okay?" Simeon said.
