I Love You

Aman decided to take his whole family on a picnic to their farmhouse which was a few hours away. He had a few reasons for planning this, 1. After Saima's marriage they hadn't gone anywhere and they could all go together, 2. He didn't get to spend a lot of time with his family because of his work and 3. The most important reason was that he wanted to propose to Roshni and confess his feelings for her. The next morning he told the family about his plan and everyone was excited. They all started packing and got ready to leave the next day. They got two seven seater cars. RoshAn, AlBir, ShayHan and Aamir were in one car while Dadi, Parveen, Phupi, Aftab, Sara and Saima and Mr. Chotu were in the other.
After two hours of driving they reached the farmhouse. Roshni was blown away by the beauty of the place as it was a very scenic and picturesque location. They went to their rooms and put their clothes and supplies and everything in the cupboards. Aman was trying to get Roshni alone and so was Roshni but they kept getting interrupted by Mr. Chotu whenever they were trying to talk to each other. At lunch Aman was about to sit beside Roshni when Mr. Chotu ran and sat on the chair before Aman could. 'I want to sit beside Chachi because she is very nice' he said. Aman sulked and made faces throughout lunch. This did not go unnoticed by anyone except Roshni because she was engrossed in her first love, food. Kabir gave Aman the idea to take her outside and confess. Aman went outside to look for a place for them to go. He found a small house which was unoccupied and decided to bring her here.
In the evening when Roshni went to their room she found a simple but beautiful dress on the bed with a note which read
'Wear this dress and meet me in the small house near the river at 7pm.

Roshni was excited and nervous at the same time. She wanted to know why he had called her there. She wore the dress and wore light makeup.

Roshni reached the house he had told her. She went inside and waited for him. Aman was on the way there with Kabir and Rehan for moral support unaware to the fact that Raakh Jinn and Adaa had followed them there. They got to the house faster than the three brothers. Raakh Jinn used her magic and set the house on fire. She and Adaa started laughing at what they had done. Roshni who was inside was shocked to see the fire. She tried to get out but there was fire everywhere. Aman, Rehan and Kabir got there and were shocked to see the sight. Adaa and Raakh Jinn had left by then and the house was badly on fire. They heard Roshni's screams for help and they all tried to use their magic to stop the fire but it was of no use. No matter how hard they tried they couldn't stop the fire and in the end Aman decided to go in but Kabir and Rehan held him back as it was dangerous. Aman was crying and trying to go inside. After a while he managed to get freed and go inside the house. There were flames everywhere and he kept calling Roshni. She heard him and tried to go to him and eventually succeeded. As soon as Aman saw her he hugged her and kissed her forehead. 'Thank God you're safe'. That was when Roshni noticed a piece of wood about to fall on him and she turned around and the wood fell on her head. Aman was horrified. He tried waking her up but she was unconscious. He lifted her up and brought her outside. They brought her to the hospital.
After sometime the doctor came outside and said that she urgently needed blood. Aman and Roshni had the same blood group so he said that he will give her blood but Aman had gotten a bit injured by the fire and was a little weak so the doctor refused. 'What do you mean I can't give her blood? I can give my life for her, this is just some blood.' 'I understand your emotions Mr. Khan but you are not strong enough at the moment to give her blood. You will collapse if you do so.' 'Then let me collapse, let me die but I won't let anything happen to her. She is my life and how will anything happen to me if I am saving my life? After some persuasion by Aman the doctor agreed and Aman donated his blood for Roshni. As the doctor had said Aman was very weak after it so he had to lie there for some more time. When he got up he went to Roshni and patted her head. 'Roshni, I was going to confess my love for you today but see what happened. If anything had happened to you then I wouldn't have been able to live. How can one live without their soul? I love you Roshni' he said and kissed her forehead. As Aman was about to leave he felt Roshni hold his hand and turned around. He cried tears of happiness and smiled.
Everyone else had arrived at the hospital by then and Kabir and Rehan explained what had happened. Sara asked 'but why did Bhai ask Bhabhi to go there anyway?' Kabir explained how Aman had realised his love for her and wanted to confess. Aman came out of the room and everyone asked him how Roshni was. Aman burst out crying and said 'all this happened because of me. I shouldn't have called her there. That piece of wood was meant to fall on me but she moved me from there and got hurt herself.' Parveen finally realised fully that if there was anyone in the world meant for her son then it was Roshni. No other girl would have done that if she was a gold digger. The doctor came outside again after checking Roshni and informed them that she is alright now but will need to be kept in observation. Everyone breathed in relief as they heard this.
Raakh Jinn and Adaa fumed as they heard this. When everyone was distracted Raakh Jinn went inside Roshni's room dressed as a nurse and tried to kill her by taking off her oxygen mask and suffocating her. She was almost done when a nurse came in and stopped her. She ran from their and the nurse shifted her focus to Roshni as her vitals were dropping. She called the doctor and although they tried to save her they couldn't. When the family were told about this they were devastated. Aman fell to his knees as if he had no life. He demanded to see her and the doctor allowed up them to go in. Everyone surrounded her bed and mourned seeing her motionless. Aman went and held her. He said ' how can you leave me alone? If you are gone who will annoy me? Who will call me "wahiyat prani"? Who will I make food for? Please come back Roshni' and cried his heart out. Everyone were trying to comfort home but he said 'I hurt her so many times, I said so many mean things to her but she still forgave me. I told her she doesn't deserve me but it was I who didn't deserve her. Roshni, you had told me to do three things right. You told me what two things were but not the third one, but now I know what the third thing was whether you tell me or not. I am going to do those three things.' He held his ears and said sorry, said 'Roshni you are the most beautiful girl in this whole entire universe since the creation of mankind' and the third thing, 'Roshni, I love you.' He hugged her and cried while saying 'I love you'. The family were heartbroken seeing him like that.
Suddenly Aman felt her arms around him. He sat up and looked at her. Her eyes were open and there were tears coming out of them. 'I love you too Khanbaba. I don't know since when but I know I definitely do.' Aman was extremely happy and just hugged her hard. The whole family cried tears of happiness and joined them in their hug. The doctor came and said that it was a miracle for her to come back to life like that. Parveen replied 'when there is love, nothing is impossible.'
Everyone went out to give RoshAn some privacy. Sara dragged Mr. Chotu out as well who was reluctant on leaving his beloved Chachi. 'Roshni, you have no idea what I felt like when I thought you left me, but now I am very happy. You and I can live together happily and then after sometime someone else can come too if you allow.' 'Who else? Why would I allow? I won't let anyone come between us' she stated quite possessively. Aman laughed and said 'they won't come between us Roshni, they will come because of our love'. Roshni was confused and Aman pointed to her tummy 'they will come from here.' Roshni understood what he meant and blushed. They spent some time talking until she fell asleep. Aman looked at her sleeping and said 'I love you' for the last time that night but not forever.
