3 months passed by in a blink. Roshni was now 3 months pregnant. The whole family's attention was on her. They all doted on her as if she herself was a baby. Aliya and Shayari took care of her well and never let her do any work. Aman was over the moon with happiness as he was going to become a father soon. He brought new gifts for the baby each day and they almost filled up a whole room so Dadi had to make him stop.
One day RoshAn were talking about their baby. 'Khanbaba, do you want a son or a daughter?' asked Roshni. Aman hugged her even more tightly and replied 'Roshni, to me it doesn't matter whether we have a son or a daughter. The only thing I want is a healthy baby and for you to be alright too. Having a son or a daughter is both the same to me because whatever the gender will be it will still be my blood.' 'I feel so blessed to have you in my life my Khanbaby's Baba'. 'I'm the one that's lucky to have you and our Khanbaby' he said and closed his eyes inhaling her scent. Roshni was in a mood to tease him a little so she said 'by the way after this baby is born we should have even more suhaagraats so that he or she won't be lonely.' Aman opened his eyes and gently moved himself from her and ran to the mirror shaking his head while Roshni laughed 'I don't understand how you get awkward by this word. It's only a normal word, suhaagraat.' 'Roshni please don't say that word. I don't get awkward, I just don't like it' he tried to defend himself forgetting he was arguing with a lawyer. 'Really? You just don't like it? Oh I see. You don't like the word but you don't mind doing it.' 'Of course I don't. If we hadn't would our Khanbaby have been coming into our life' he retorted. Roshni let out a squeal and covered her mouth. Aman ran to her concerned asking her what happened. 'How can you be so shameless and awkward at the same time Khanbaba? What if Khanbaby hears what you just said and his or her innocence gets lost. I should go cleanse myself in Gangajal so that nothing happens' she said starting to get up and leave. 'Roshni, where did Gangajal come into this?' he said walking behind her.
On the way out Roshni felt a sudden pain in her abdomen. She held it and stood there. After a bit she couldn't bear it anymore and let out a scream. Aman who was metres away ran to her and hugged her when he saw her in pain. 'Ahhhh' she screamed loud enough to bring everyone there. 'What happened Roshni? Why are you screaming? Did you get hurt?' they all asked. Dadi asked Aman to tell them what happened because Roshni couldn't speak due to the pain. He told them how they were coming outside and she suddenly felt pain. The whole family was confused because they didn't know what was going on and were worried about Roshni and the baby. 'Khanbaba, promise me if anything happens to me you will save our baby' said Roshni. 'Roshni what are you saying, nothing will happen to you or our baby. I am going to call Tabeezi.' As Aman went to get his phone and call Tabeezi a ring of fire surrounded Roshni scaring everyone. Kabir and Rehan tried to use their magic to help her but it didn't work. Even Aliya and Shayari tried to use their limited powers and when that didn't work they tried pouring water over the fire but that too showed no effect. Aman came back and used his own magic and finally the fire disappeared and her pain subsided. 'What is going on here? Why is all of this happening?' yelled a frustrated and worried Aman. 'I'll tell you' said Tabeezi who came using the Peetal darwaza.
'Aman, all of this is happening because she is pregnant with your baby, your blood. Roshni is an Ayaana and you are a Jinn. Your pair is like fire and water so that's why it's causing her so much pain.' 'So will she be in this pain until the delivery?' asked Salma who was caressing Roshni's head lovingly. 'Salma, this pain will only increase by then.' 'And the fire. Why was the fire here?' asked Rehan who was still in shock after the previous events. 'The fire is an indication that the delivery will happen very soon.' 'Delivery now? It's only been 3 months Tabeezi' Aman exclaimed. 'I know Aman, but this is no ordinary baby. This is the baby of the King of Jinns and Ayaana so the delivery will happen very soon.' 'Wait a minute Tabeezi what did you say? King of Jinns? How am I the King of Jinns?' asked Aman completely and utterly confused at the new revelation. 'Yes Aman you are the King of Jinns. Do you remember when you rescued Roshni from the fire that day during the holiday? Since then you are the new King of Jinns because you showed bravery that day. You showed that your love is greater than any danger and so the sword chose you to be the King. There is a way for Roshni's pain to stop. You need to find the Sifriti diamond. Only that can help now.' Aliya took off one of her rings and gave it to Roshni saying 'this ring has a Sifriti diamond in it. My teacher gave it to me once.' Aman thanked Aliya for her generosity.
That night, Roshni was sleeping with her head on Aman's chest. 'I'm sorry Roshni. If I was not a Jinn you wouldn't have been in this much pain.' 'Ssshhh. What are you saying? If I have to go through this pain a million times to bring our children into this world then I will gladly do so.' 'A million times? Then you will have to come close to me a million times for that to happen.' Roshni laughed and punched him lightly before dozing off in the safest arms she could ever be in.
