Infinite Stares

The Monday morning meeting, most Avengers were still sleeping for 50%, but others were more awake, unlike Natasha.

Natasha found herself staring at Steve, who sat across the table. She also found Steve staring back at her. Something they have been doing since forever now.

"And then Natasha will swoop in and shoot them." Tony says, "Natasha? Nat? Natasha!"

"Mhm?" Natasha says as she finally looked at Tony.

"What just happened? I was explaining my great plan for our new mission and you're staring once again at Spangles over there." Tony says

"Sorry." Natasha says, "His eye's are just so beautiful." She mumbles and Steve started to blush.

"Okay, that." Tony says and pointed between the two. "Is over. Whatever that is."

"Come on Tony, it's cute." Wanda says

"No, what is cute, is Peter over there, sitting and listening over there, unlike them." Tony says

"They are in love." Wanda says

"Sokovia accords, rule 48: No relationships between the Avengers." Tony says

"I never signed." Steve says

"My God." Tony groans, "Meeting dismissed."

"What? You haven't even explained the plan yet." Natasha says

"We have to do something." Sam says

"About what?" Wanda asks while sipping her milkshake.

"That." Sam says and pointed at Natasha and Steve. Natasha was in his lap and playing with Steve's hair. "They keep having these infinite stares that never end."

"That's the definition of infinite." Peter says

"Shut it, kid. The adults are talking." Sam says

"I watched movies." Peter says

"Well, kid, what do we do?" Wanda asks

"Set them up on a date." Peter says

Sam and Wanda groaned at the same time.

"That's too basic." Wanda says

"Then just tease them, or whatever." Peter says while looking down and walking away.

"Great idea." Sam says

"I never done this before." Wanda says

"Let me do it." Sam says and walked over to the couch with Wanda trailing behind him. "So when are you two gonna kiss?"

"Never." Natasha says

"Seriously? You guys are totally into each other." Wanda says

"Neh." Steve says

"She's literally in your lap." Sam says

"It's a best friends thing." Natasha says

"You don't see me in Bucky's lap, do you?" Sam says

"That's because Bucky isn't as huggable as Steve." Natasha says

"Okay, wait here." Wanda says

A while later she returned, she trew a mistletoe at them.

"What the hell?" Steve says

"It's mistletoe, you gotta kiss." Wanda says

"It's April." Natasha says

"Okay. Sam let's just accept it that these two soulmates don't wanna date." Wanda says

"Fine." Sam says

Wanda and Sam walked back to the kitchen and when they turned they saw Natasha and Steve kiss.
