My mom woke me up at 4am since the bus service will leave at 6:30 in the morning. I already prepared everything for our school camp, my tent, water, and etcetera.I sat on my bed and what happened to the library flash back in my mind. She told me it was all nothing, and I shouldn't expect more than anything. She was right, but still hurts.
"Darling, are you ready? Your dad will drive you at school and your friend, Catherine, texted me if you're on your way already." My mom peeked her head on my door, I nodded. The waiting area will be at school, I was about not to come but Maggie and Cath convinced me. I'm still not ready to see Ms. Marcos after the incident, to the point that I want to escape on her class.
I took everything I need and headed out to my room. Have you ever feel lonely for no reason? It's like a sudden feeling that will corrupt your whole system and you will start asking yourself what's wrong.
"Are you okay, Bambi?" My father interrupted my thoughts, I look at him and roll my eyes. "Dad, stop calling me with that nickname. I'm turning 19 but you still treat me like a 5 years old kid." I let out a chuckle. He tap my shoulder while looking at the road, "something's bothering you?" he asked, I kept quiet.
"I'm fine, dad." I lied. After half an hour, we reached the school and bid goodbye to my dad. Everyone's seems excited to this activity but not me. I travel my sight around and saw my two best friends, they waved at me and I waved back.
"Are you excited?" Maggie squealed that made me playfully roll my eyes. "She isn't excited. Look oh, ganyan kasi ang mga nasasawi sa pag- ibig." Catherine said with her conyoness and chortled afterwards. Did God sent me these two as my patience tester?
The sunrise slowly replacing the dark sky, a pink and yellowish light blended above the clouds, smell of wet grass calm my nerves and a sounds of chattering people somehow ease my mind. Students slowly filling the seats inside the bus while me, Cath, and Maggie are in the last. A white Mercedes Benz car parked at the side of the bus service. It's probably one of our teachers. They're allow to bring their own car anyway.
Ma'am Gonzales, started to check her attendance if any of us are inside so we could go already. She looks so innocent and pure, but at the same time has a magnetic aura. Still, no one can compares to that woman who just teared me up without actually considering my feelings. She caused me enough pain, but there's something in her that pulling me closer like I've been hypnotized by a picturesque witch.
Speaking of her, I looked outside the window only to see her step out from the luxurious white Mercedes Benz. Is teacher's salary is quite expensive to afford such cars? What something she do besides of being a teacher of this huge private school? Ugh, rich mama.
"Is everything settled here?" She asked ma'am Gonzales as soon as she step in inside the bus. Her co- teacher just nodded and smile at her. She travel her eyes at the students who are busy talking to their seatmates while I was staring at her intently. Her dark brown eyes met mine as we stared at each other for about fifteen seconds. I was the first one who break the eye contact when I remember everything she said about me.Be firm, Ariella.
Third Person
As the bus started to move, Ariella felt dizzy and uncomfortable. Long rides and the smell of aircon of the bus made her more feel sick. Her friends asked her when they noticed that she looks unwell.
"You better close your eyes so it could ease your head." Maggie suggested and squeezed her arm. Cath is already into a deep slumber beside Maggie. She nodded and follow what she said but it just got worsened. Her eyes voluntarily open and divert her sight to the green leaves at the side of the road.
After half an hour, she looked to her side and saw her friends sleeping peacefully as well as the other students. Their location is quite far from the city, and they have to travel for hours.
Her stomach felt turning up and down and her sight was getting blurry, she really need to puke it out. The young girl woke up Maggie to ask Ms. Gonzales to stop the bus so she can vomit. Their teacher gladly followed without waking up the other students.
Once the bus stop, she immediately jump outside and let it all out at the side of the road. Margaret was about to follow but Ariella didn't let her. Teachers with their own car also pulled over and see what is happening.
"Mauna na kayo, and I'll take care of this para hindi na maabala ang iba, Ms. Gonzales." Ms. Marcos mumbled while glancing to Ariella. They talked for a moment before Ms. Gonzales went back inside the bus. The bus driver turn on the engine and headed to the road followed by the teachers car.
"Where are they going?!" Ariella gripped her hand at the barrier and take a glance at Ms. Marcos. She was crossing her arm and coldly looking at her. "Tell me when you're finish there." She uttered and walk to her car.
Isn't she gonna help me here? She thought and fix herself after a torturing dizziness and headache.
Ms. Marcos open the shotgun door and let her sit, "Aren't we going to go after them?" she asked and pinched her temple, "can you just take a moment and breath?" she retorted and took something inside her bag. "Here," she handed her a vicks inhaler which she gladly accept and started inhaling it. She closed her eyes and rest her head at the headrest to calm herself.
Her General Biology teacher unconsciously wander her eyes on her struggling face that looks so sexy for her, on her neck with her sweat and carefully watching her chest going up and down in motion when she breath heavily. Her back curved as she push her head forward because of her severe headache, she gulped when she realized she's been staring at her for long. Checking on her Ms. Marcos?
"Are you feel good already?" Her voice softened and cleared her throat. Ariella nodded even she wasn't perfectly well, she don't want to caused a disturbance tho she already did.
"Oh God.." Ms. Marcos whispered to the air when she noticed how she behaved towards her student just a minute ago.
