Episode 14

The Logan-Forrester Mansion

Not feeling like doing any more work at Forrester Creations, Brooke left the office and came straight home. Opening the door, she kicked her shoes before Brooke sat on the couch and looked up at the ceiling, still thinking about Ridge. She was frustrated deep down inside that her husband was running away from their marriage all because of what Brooke did with Deacon. Where does Ridge get off thinking he could do whatever he wanted.

Brooke – "Damn it Ridge, just come back home to me, to us. Why aren't you here?"

The doorbell of their mansion had rung as Brooke immediately got up before running to the door. When she opened it, she saw Deacon who smiled a bit of seeing her.

Deacon – "Brooke"

Brooke – "Oh...Deacon. Why are you here?"

Deacon – "To check on you. Hope visited me earlier today at work and thought you might need some cheering up after Pandora's box broke open. I hope I didn't come at a bad time"

Brooke – "No I am just waiting for someone to come home but please come in"

Deacon – "Who? Ridge, while he's currently at work?" *Walks inside the mansion and looks around before Brooke closes the door to lead him into the couch*

Brooke – "Well he's doing more than just working, he's been avoiding me unfortunately because of what we did"

Deacon – "What? Ridge Forrester backing away from his soon to be broken marriage. That sounds just like him"

Brooke – *Sits down next to Deacon* "I know he has a right to be upset but for crying out loud, I want to make it right and he's not giving me the chance"

Deacon – "His problem is he thinks he can have his cake and eat it too, but Ridge can't have it both ways. You were wrong Brooke and so was I, but he can't hold it against you forever"

Brooke – "And in the meanwhile he's also probably and secretly with Taylor behind my back. The thought of it makes me sick"

Deacon – "Why do you put up with so much when it comes to Ridge? The man cares but has a huge ego that he doesn't want deflated"

Brooke – "Ridge is a very stubborn man Deacon, he loves me, but he knows he can't resist Brooke Logan Forrester for long"

Deacon – "If you ask me Brooke, you deserve so much better than mister know it all himself in Ridge Forrester. Any other man would die to be with someone like yourself.... maybe even little ole' me?"

Brooke smiled a little bit after hearing Deacon say all those things. Deacon wasn't a fan of Ridge, that was obvious, but it was good, it felt good for him to take up for Brooke. He knew her flaws and accepted her for who she is, she's not perfect or have a halo over her head. Ridge did love Brooke, but it felt like sometimes he was the one being chased by Brooke, Taylor or anyone else. The two of them continued talking and flirting for a bit but none of it was bad, just a little fun but she asked herself, maybe it's time for a change?

Steffy and Finn's Home

Taylor put both Hayes and Kelly down for their naps as Steffy was out doing errands for the time on her day off. She smiled at both of her grandchildren before Taylor left the nursery and walked down the stairs, though was still worried about her future. The attempted murder of Bill Spencer left her ashamed of what she did, and despite everything else, she knew she was guilty, but if only Taylor could remember more about that night. As the door of the house opened, Taylor saw Steffy return with James Warrick (Ian Buchanan) to her shock and surprise.
