Episode 3

Stepping out of the limousine thanks to the chauffeur who opened the door for her, Diana Marone adjusted her sunglasses. Thanking the chauffeur, she gives him a tip and makes her way up to Il Giardino since she has a lunch date with Dino Forrester who told Diana that he would be late due to a meeting. After the two of them met in Monaco a month back, they've taken their relationship very slowly by not rushing everything, but Dino made Diana happy. But as she comes inside the restaurant, the sight of Deacon Sharpe kissing Sheila Carter made her want to puke.

Diana – My god.

Shaking her head and trying to avoid them, Diana walks up to a table to sit down but Sheila noticed her before calling out to her daughter.

Sheila – Oh, Diana!

Diana ignores her mother since the two of them weren't on good terms still but trying to have a mother-daughter relationship to this very day.

Diana – Great, here we go.

Sheila and Deacon walked up to Diana who pretending checking her messages on her phone, kind of not in the mood to see her mom today no matter what.

Sheila – Hi sweetie, I am so glad you showed up today. Me and Deacon have something to tell you honey which is very important.

Diana – Let me guess, you're FINALLY leaving Los Angeles and never coming back.

Sheila and Deacon look at each other as they laugh before they shook their heads.

Deacon – Um, no, that would be way too easy. Los Angeles would be boring without the two of us when you think about it.

Sheila – Right, but no, not that, it's much better news. Me and Deacon are in a relationship together sweetheart.

Diana had a shocked expression on her face.

Diana – I'm sorry, can you say that again slowly?

Deacon – Your mom and I are in a relationship together. Diana, you have no idea how much your mom makes a guy like me so happy, its just-

Diana – You AND Deacon are together? Is this some kind of joke or something? This can't be happening right now.

With a disgusted look on her face towards Deacon and Sheila right now, Diana didn't know what else to say. If her mom wanted to be happy then fine but why use someone like Deacon Sharpe who is nothing more than a con artist himself. Sheila was worried about how her daughter was reacting to the news as Deacon wondered if Diana was okay. The two of them were a worst match than ever, so what then did they think this was going to work in the first place?

Sitting with the women who claimed that she was Selenas, or shall I say Caroline's mother in Karen, she heard everything the older lady who to say about her life. Which life to be exact? The life she used to live as Caroline back then before she 'passed away' so to speak. It was a lot for her to take in as Selena could tell that Karen wasn't lying or keeping anything else away from her. If she did then the brunette wouldn't have allowed her into the palace in the first place. Selena stood up from the chair and walked over to the window.

Selena (Caroline) - Wow, that's a lot to absorb Karen.

Karen – Caroline...Selena I mean, I apologize if I am bombarding you with everything, it's just...you've been gone for such a long time until now. You have a right to know your life as my...daughter.
