II Giardino
Sitting at a bar by her lonesome self, Sheila thought of the encounter she had with Diana a couple months back. It haunted her of how much she let her daughter down, but Sheila wanted to make things right between the two of them. She just didn't know how but giving her space was for the best right now since it wasn't time for more wounds to be reopen between the two. Just as she was about to take another sip, Sheila noticed someone sitting next to her at the bar before she frowned.
Sheila – "Deacon, if that's you I am not in the mood to- "
James – "Deacon Sharpe? Sheila, don't tell me you forgot who I am"
Sheila looks over and in shock, saw James Warrick sitting in the stool near the bar before ordering a drink from the bartender.
Sheila – "James? You're back in Los Angeles?"
James – *Grins a bit* "Yes, and in the flesh Sheila. Hopefully you're staying from trouble, though recently I heard you have a new son"
Sheila – "Yes, his name is Finn, and we are slowly working on our relationship. It's a long story short, but he's a doctor in Los Angeles, married to Steffy, successful, even a father to his own son Hayes"
James – "A grandmother once again? Congratulations, have you spoken to Mary yet?"
Sheila – *Looks down a bit and sighs* "No, I haven't, you know she doesn't want anything to do with me James. I am honoring what Mary wants, just like I am for Diana"
James – "Diana? The daughter of Sheila Carter and Massimo Marone? She's here in Los Angeles?"
Sheila – "Yes, it the first day after Massimo's passing. When we met, I can tell Diana couldn't stand the sight of her mother James. There's so much amends for me to make, I just don't know how to start with Diana"
James – "Well from the looks of it, you and Finn seem to be getting along so it shouldn't be an issue with Diana. Do you honestly mean it when you say you want to make amends?"
Sheila – "Of course James, that's why I am here in Los Angeles to right the wrongs that were committed by me right?"
James – "Alright then, for your sake, hopefully you're truly sincere. Many people in Los Angeles, Genoa City have a right to doubt and call your bluff"
Sheila – "And that's completely understandable, but I don't care who likes it or not. I am here to stay in Los Angeles James, to be a grandmother and a mom to ALL my children"
James – "Then I wish you the best Sheila, just don't blow it for yourself. After all, Sheila Carter does a great job of messing things up in the end"
Sheila - *Rolls eyes* "Thanks a lot for your best wishes, James. Anyway, what brings you here to Los Angeles"
James – "Let's just say the good doctor is helping an ole' friend....and that's all you need to know"
Sheila – "Always a master of not showing your full cards I, see? Very clever, anyway, I should get going and tell Finn about his sister since his mother didn't get the chance to tell him yet"
James – "One more thing before you leave Sheila"
Sheila – "And what's that, James?"
James – "I wish you the best in finding your own happiness and making things right with those you've hurt in the past. But I know you very well, the current Sheila I see right in front of me is a.... lighthearted version, while the Sheila inside wants to come out and play. Hopefully that Sheila can be locked away for good, but I doubt it. Have a good day now Sheila"'
