Hospital

Sitting across from the hospital bed of his beloved Brooke Logan, Ridge took Brooke's hand and slowly stroked the knuckles of it. Since the shooting months back, Brook has been in a coma despite Finn doing everything they could to do to save Brooke from the bullet thanks to Devaney Dixon. But she wasn't the only one responsible, the other guy who Ridge thought was also responsible, is the fraud who still to this day claims 'Ridge' even though the FBI hasn't gotten back to clear any of this up. This was all a mess because of 'Ridge' too, as Ridge plans on making them pay one day.

Ridge – Logan, logan, logan, how in the world could this have happened to someone beautiful like yourself?

Ridge kissed the knuckles of her hand again. He watched her but no movements, no sounds, no nothing from Brooke herself.

Ridge – Both Dixon and this Ridge fraud are going to pay Logan, I promise you. Through hell or high water, they won't get away with this.

RJ – No change dad?

Ridge looks up to see RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) come into the room frowning, not happy to see his mother still in a coma after he returned from overseas.

Ridge – Nope, no change at all, it makes me frustrated that none of us can do anything to help your mother. You know I would move heaven and earth to make her better son.

Ridge gets up and hugged RH who hugs his father back. The two of them look at Brooke as RJ sits down next to her.

RJ – Mom shouldn't be in this stage of her life fighting for it after some maniac shot her. Now look at her dad.

Ridge – She's not the only one responsible for this you know?

RJ – You mean the other guy who says he's, my dad? Pfft, I haven't even spoken to him since coming back to him. He's not my dad, YOU are and no one else.

Ridge – Hey.

Putting his hand on RJ's shoulder, RJ looks back at his dad.

Ridge – You're my son, nothing is going to change. Thomas, Steffy, you, the three of you are everything to me and that'll never go away.

RJ - *Smiles* I know, where is he by the way? If he loved my mom so much he would be here right now dad.

Ridge – Don't know, don't care, your mom is our focus right now...not him.

Making it abundantly clear what matters now, Ridge and RJ both watch Brooke. The last thing they needed was that fraud of Dixon to come in here claiming his property so to speak in Brooke. What all of them needed right not was for Brooke to wake up so the fears, the resistance can be put to the side. Brooke was fighting in there somewhere to keep going for those who love her. There wouldn't be a Los Angeles without Brooke Logan who's made her own pathway throughout the good and the bad. Her family needed her to make it through this unfortunate tragedy regardless of the result.

Swimming around the pool of his secret home thanks to the FBI, 'Ridge' (Ron Moss) was trying to not think about Brookes current crisis, but it was no luck at all. Why would 'Ridge' not even think of the blonde? That was the love of her life and she's in coma because of HIM, no one else even with Dixon still out there on the run at the same time from the authorities. Maybe if Ridge had someone to talk to, someone that understood him, then maybe he wouldn't be in so much grief and regret in the first place. As he started to make his way out of the pool, he saw Taylor make her way to the back.
