Hospital

Max lays in the hospital bed with his arm wrapped before he looks up and sighed in relief. The man just got shot by a mad woman on the loose but at least he wasn't dead. It was only a good thing the man wasn't dead but didn't expect his cover to be blown thanks to Dixon. Max was a freaking FBI agent and should have been better than to let Dixon get the best of him. Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted when Lieutenant Baker came into the room.

Lt. Baker – "Are you...?"

Max – "Max but an agent for the FBI"

Lt. Baker – "An agent for the FBI?"

Max – "FBI Agent. You heard me right"

Max showed the lieutenant his FBI badge which caught Baker off guard. First the LAPD and now the FBI? Where did they come from?

Lt. Baker – "I take it you were working a case and got shot, that's how you ended up here"

Max – "Yes, by Deveney Dixon, she's responsible for putting me here and everything else"

Lt. Baker – "Woah woah woah, now slowdown"

Max – "I know, it's a lot for you to take in"

Lt. Baker – "Isn't the first time. I've seen a lot of weird things when it comes to the Forrester's, Spencer's and Logan's. Aren't you working for one of them?"

Max – "I was working undercover for the Forrester family at Forrester Creations since the beginning of this year"

Lt. Baker – "Why?"

Max – "To protect the Forrester family and to find out the possible mole who works for them for over ten years"

Lt. Baker – "And who is this mole?"

Max – "Ridge Forrester, but not the one who's in town"

Lt. Baker – "The fake one? Is that what you mean?"

Max – "Long story but to make it short Deveney Dixon, an enemy of the Forrester's, put all of this in motion to get back at them"

Lt. Baker – "Is this Deveney Dixon working alone?"

Max – "No, she's not working alone. One of them people aligned with her is your boss, Commissioner David Reed of the LAPD"

Lt. Baker arches his eyebrow and was confused but shocked at the same time just when he was starting to write down Max's statement. Max wouldn't be here right now if he didn't take this under cover assignment from the FBI. He felt bad for the Forrester's of what they're about to go through because they didn't deserve this. So many lives were going to be impacted due to the revelations that will be revealed at the same time.

Los Angeles Police Department

Walking up to the office of one Commissioner Reed, Detective Charlie Baker knocked on it before hearing nothing. Charlie knocked on it again and then opens the door seeing no one, David wasn't in the office which was weird. At this time of the day, he would always see the boss walking into the office after a meeting or taking care of something but him not in the office didn't feel right. Making his way inside, Charlie sees a red light near the phone which is messages for others to leave. Deciding to take a risk, Charlie presses the button before hearing a voice.
