"Why didn't it ever cross your mind to mention you have a brother?" I asked as I plonked myself down in front of her. Her head was bowed deeply and I couldn't get her to meet my eye. She was purposely being evasive so she wouldn't have to face the repercussions.

She would though.

"It never came up! I honestly thought I had told you. He's been studying abroad for the last two years." She stated dismissively. She waved her tiny hands dismissively as she continued staring down at her homework. She scribbled some messy notes down and tucked her long brown hair behind her ears and sucked on her lip. My focus was still on the previous night.

When he had gotten so close to me that I could smell his cologne. When his fingertips had run down my chest after he adjusted my jacket.

"Because I know gay when I see it, and you my boy are off the charts."

Those words had been resounding in my head all day. What had they meant? He had said he was toying with me, but I had seen the look in his mischief filled orbs as he spoke. They were filled with intrigue, and maybe even a hint of lust. My lip was firmly between my teeth as thoughts and memories of our interactions swirled around my head.

"Hannie?" Her 'cute' voice brought me back to the boring reality I was currently facing.

"Look, Laney. I love you. You know that, but this has hurt me. I feel betrayed. You know how I feel about protecting my sister." My voice was cracking as I spoke. Sarah had a kind heart and had been taken advantage of many times. My parents useless parenting style had left her vulnerable to a world that would happily chew her up and spit her out. She let out an irritated loud groan.

"He's my brother. This is me. Why can't you trust my judgement baby?" She reached out and her soft hand landed on my cheek. She caressed my skin with her thumb and I leaned into the soft touch.

"It's not you I don't trust." I mumbled. I turned my face and pressed my lips against her palm. She closed her books and moved the items that separated us from each other. Her weight landed in my lap and I pulled her legs around my torso. Her lips pressed to mine in a loving kiss as her hands rested lightly on my shoulders.

"He's not a bad guy. I promise. He's just sarcastic. He's a pussycat though, and I'm sure you guys will get along. He's into anime, you like the same food, and because your personalities are so different, you guys will bond." She ran the tip of her nose over mine, as our eyes locked onto each other. I could see how lustful she felt and I almost wanted to give in. But this wasn't the right time.

Not when her brother was plaguing my mind.

"We have homework to finish." I whispered. She pouted and I quickly pecked her lips before turning her around in my lap. My legs were either side of hers and I opened a book again as we began reading over the questions together. Her hands were wrapped around mine and I rested my chin on her shoulder as we worked.

"Why are you so obsessed with school Hannie?" She asked as I took her hand and made her turn the page.

"Because I want a good future. I want to provide for my family. My parents barely scrape by, I don't want to live like that." I admitted. She leaned back against my chest and I pressed my lips to her cheek as she wrote some more notes down. Laney had skipped a couple of years and ended up in my college class. It was how we met. She had been so nervous and flustered on her first day I thought she was going to pass out.

I had known her for years but it was only the previous year when we had bonded and begun getting to know each other. She truly was the light in my bleak world. The world where I held far more responsibility than my young shoulders could bare.

"You're too cute." The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end as alarm bells began ringing loudly in my head. My eyes drifted up and there he stood. Leaning against my door frame casually, eyeing his sister and I.

"What the fuck are you doing in my house?" I snarled at him. I snapped the book shut causing Laney to jump slightly. I slammed it down on the floor and moved Laney so I could stand.

"I'm here to visit my girlfriend. I thought I would stop by and check on my sister. You two look... Comfortable." I narrowed my eyes and straightened up.

"Laney. Sarah's room. Now." I instructed coolly as my eyes fixated on the one person who dared to challenge me. His hair hung lazily over one of his eyes, and the fluffy jumper framed his toned body well.

"But I-"

"Now Laney!" I growled angrily. She flinched but got to her feet and slowly left the room. Leeknow touched her shoulder as she passed and she disappeared off down the hall. He used his shoulder to push himself away from his door frame, and entered my room. My space. My area that I never wanted him near. Let alone inside of.

"Where do you get off ordering her around like a servant?" He asked as he approached me.

"The same place you get off thinking you're actually going to date my sister." I retorted.

"It's a little late for that. She's already my girlfriend." He jibed with a silky tone in his voice.

"And that's nothing that can't be undone quickly is it?" I reminded him as an involuntary smirk tugged at my mouth.

"Listen Jisung." He turned and closed my door. Once again the lock clicked shut and I wasn't enjoying this. Why exactly did he always want to hide our conversations?

"What is your problem? Why are you constantly locking me in my own room with you?"

"Ah Jisung. It seems I've gotten under your skin. That's good. That's where I intend to live. Either there or rent free in your head. But by the look in your eyes I can see I'm already there too." He approached and took my chin in his hand. He squished my cheeks and gently shook my head back and forth as he pulled a cute pouty face at me.

He was mocking me. I wrenched my face free of his grasp and grabbed his sweater. I shoved him against the wall and glared up at him. I had finally snapped.

"Listen here, you stupid fucking moron. You might think I look innocent, but I am more than capable of ruining your life. If you want that face to stay pretty, I suggest you walk out of here, and don't ever fucking come back." I spat the words viciously. The tension was palpable and the heavy tension settled over the whole room. It felt dark and heavy despite my bright lights flooding the room with warmth.

Veins were popping from my arms as my muscles tensed against his torso, holding him against the wall firmly.

"Oh. So you think I'm pretty?" It was as though he had punched me in the gut. That was the only thing he had taken away from everything I just said?! This kid had some balls, and if I didn't hate him as much as I did, I would admire him.

"You disgust me on every level."

"Aww don't say that baby. The fun is only just beginning." He gently slapped my face and I found myself releasing him from the tight grip I had on his clothes.

"You have a death wish for sure." I grunted as I put some space between us. I needed to keep my cool.

I had a feeling this guy had the potential to ruin my life.

It excited me.
