Shawn
Abbigail's soothing voice woke me from the darkness I had gone to while napping on her grandparents couch. My heart was pounding and my breaths were quick and shallow. My entire body was trembling beneath her straddling me with her hands caressing my face. I look around the room and notice that her family is watching with concern.
She gently turns my head back towards her and I look in her blind eyes. Those eyes reflected love, safety and compassion. "I'm right here," she says in a soothing voice, letting her thumbs sweep my cheeks. "Breathe with me Shawn."
"The baby, where's the baby," I choke in a sobbed whisper.
"She's okay, it's you I'm worried about."
"I can feel it again and it hurts," I choke as tears roll down my cheeks.
"Feel what Shawn,"she asks softly, wiping my eyes.
"The bullets, I can feel them piercing my skin and it never ends. It's like its on loop, getting shot over and over again," I sob in a whisper.
She slips her hand up my shirt and traces over the scar on my waist. I let out a calming breath and feel as my body relaxes under her. "It's closed up Shawn, for years now," she says in a soothing tone, continuing to trace the scar.
I close my eyes and focus on her finger tracing my scar. I found it soothing and able to calm down. Abbigail moves to lay on the inside of the couch and continues to trace the scar as I calm down from the attack.
Moments later I shudder a calming sigh and open my eyes. I kiss the top of Abbigail's head and she turns her face towards me, giving me a kiss. "Are you okay now," she asks in a choked whisper, tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I tried medication but it left me feeling like an empty shell and I don't want to feel like that again or have these attacks come between us," I choke in a whisper.
"Let me be your medication," she says softly giving me another kiss. "I don't plan on going anywhere."
I let out a relieved sigh and she lays back on my chest. I look at her family around the room and they all were relieved to see I was okay. I find my family among them and they had relieved tears in their eyes. They've seen me at my worst, when I didn't have Abbigail and none of them could calm me down like this.
"Was it the twenty-one gun salute that triggered this attack," Abbigail asks softly, tracing the same scar.
"I think so, I'm surprised I didn't go into an attack while it was going on," I say quietly in a calm whisper.
"Do you want to leave," she asks quietly, trailing her finger along the waistband of my pants and I swallow nervously.
"If you keep doing that, we'll have to," I say in a breathy whisper and she continues. I was starting to feel aroused by her touch and shudder under her. "Shit, let's go."
My mother helps put on my walking boot and I place my shirt bunched up in my lap to cover my semi erect member. My sister and father started to clear the room to save me some embarrassment. Abbigail continues to slowly trail against my waistband and my breaths quicken. She giggles against my lips and gives me a kiss.
"Your bags are already in the guest house. Just call us if you need anything," my mother says with a laugh as I grab Abbigail's hand before she undresses me.
I nod and we quickly make our way to the guest house before Abbigail undressed me in front of her family. Thankfully the guest house wasn't too far from the main house. As soon as the front door was closed, our clothes flew off and left a trail from the door to the master bedroom. I was fully erect when we got to the bed and Abbigail helped me out of the walking boot.
