Chapter 9

Iris 

Another day another perfect morning

Unless you weren't starving

"Look!" Katara yelled excitedly pointing at the lake then a fish appeared jumping and jumping 

"He is taunting us!" Sokka said as the fish jumped again 

"I don't think he is-"

"You are so going to be dinner!" Sokka yelled as he grabs his fishing pole from his tent attempting to cast the poke into the water until he realized there wasn't a string 

"Hey, where's the fishing line?"

"Oh, I didn't think you would need it, Sokka" Aang said sheepishly as he holds some necklace decorated in a red flower  

"Aw, it's all tangled!" Sokka said 

"Actually it's woven" I told Sokka 

"What the difference?" Sokka asked me 

"Woven is made or constructed by interlacing threads or strips of material or other elements into a whole" I told him 

"I don't get it" I groaned 

"It's made in a complex story or pattern, basically a pattern!"

"Well anyway, I made you a necklace, Katara I thought since you lost your other one..." 

"Thanks, Aang" Katara said smiling as she takes the necklace

"I love it"

"Great, Aang, maybe instead of saving the world, you can go into the jewelry-making business" Sokka said sarcastically

"I don't see why I can't do both"  

I sighed I as looked over and saw Sokka trying to grab the fish with his own hands 

"Hang on, Sokka!" I yelled as I ran to the lake 

"Stop taunting me!" Sokka yelled at the fish as it came up again again and slapped him 

"So, how do I look?" I heard Katara asked Aang who look in awe and amazement 

"You mean, all of you or just your neck?"

" I mean, because they both look great!"

"Smooth, really smooth, Aang" I said as I was holding the fish in a bubble with my water bending 

" Smoochie, smoochie, someone's in love!" Sokka said as he making kissing noises before the fish broke free from my bending slapping Sokka with their tail disappearing into the water

"Why is it only hitting me?!" 

" I ... well, uh ..." I heard Aang 

"Stop teasing him, guys. Aang's just a good friend" Katara said patting Aang's head 

" A sweet, little guy! Just like Momo" as she pets Mom who was on Aang shoulders 

"Thanks" Aang said in dismayed 

"Friend-zone" I mumbled in a singing like voice until we heard some commotion

"Someone's being attacked by a platypus bear!" Aang said as he used his gladder to fly to the trouble while we ran and to see a very calm man dodging the platypus bear's attacks 

"Well, hello there! Nice day, isn't it?" he asked dodge the bears claws 

"Make noise! He'll run off!"

"No, play dead! He'll lose interest!"

Aang and Sokka yelled at the calm man as the bear swings his claws missing and striking once again
