Chapter 13

Andrews (pov)

I wake up the next morning and make a breakfast of crepes and a side of bacon. After breakfast the three of us head to the mall for our shopping trip. While Tristan travels to his coven.

We all pile into an suv with Tobalt driving. Theo sits in the passenger seat. I sit in the backseat. The ride to the mall takes about 30 minutes to get there. When we arrive we head to a furniture store.

I want to get a desk to put in the corner of the living room next to the fireplace. I thought it would be nice for me or Tobalt to work from home with. I sometimes bring unfinished paperwork from the clinic. Tobalt also brings finance reports home to review.

I walk up to an employee and ask to see the home office section. Tobalt and I follow the man to pick out a desk. Theo goes to look for a rug to place in our room.

  I walk over to the desks. I like this old fashioned roll top desk made with dark cherrywood. Tobalt likes a sleek modern glass top desk.

We need to decide on one so we ask Theo for his opinion. He said he likes both but that my choice would look better near the fireplace. Tobalt pouts so I walk up to him wrap my arms around his back and kiss him on my mark. He smiles at me and pecks my cheek.

Theo then grabs both our hands to show us which rug he likes for the end of our bed. He had it down to two. One was a Carmel colored thick fluffy rug. The other was a short dark brown rug with an ivory colored diamond pattern in the middle.

Since our room has tan colored walls with a dark wood sleigh style king bed and bedding is red. I think the fluffy Carmel rug would look better. It would also feel nice for when we do not quite make it to the bed. I say this out loud and my mates lowly groan at me.

We make our selections and pay for them. we find out they should be delivered in the middle of next week. We then head to some clothing stores. I get myself some band shirts, 2 pairs of skinny jeans, tan cargo pants and a few pairs of shorts.

Next week will be May and the weather is getting warmer here in Oregon. I also get me some boycut booty shorts and beater tanks to sleep in. We then go to a shoe store where I purchase a new pair of black and red checkered vans and a pair of dark brown hiking boots.

At this point it is almost one in the afternoon. I am getting hungry and cranky. Theo asks if I am ok. I respond that I need food and to rest. We decided to go to the food cart.

I had a smothered teriyaki steak sub with mushrooms, onions, pineapple and Swiss cheese and a chocolate strawberry smoothie. It was delicious. Tobalt had a chicken bacon wrap and side salad with a sweet tea.

  Theo had shrimp lomein with a vanilla shake. Like really who drinks a plain shake. I chuckle to myself.

After lunch we go to a couple more stores. I am exhausted. It is now after 4pm and we are supposed to meet at the pack house for my moms farewell dinner at 7pm. We head back to the cabin to put away our purchases.

I then decide to shower and take a short nap. My mates came to check up on me and were surprised to see me napping. I have been so tired.

  Tristan has not gotten back yet. Theo and Tobalt lay on each side of me. I unconsciously cuddle closer into their warmth. We finally wake up around 6pm to get ready.

I wear my new cargo pants with a short sleeve burgundy polo and my new brown hiking boots. I brush my hands through my hair and decide to leave it down. My mates are dressed and waiting for me. I walk down and I was excited to see Tristan. I run into his arms wrapping my legs around his waist and passionately kiss him.

He looks at me and says if this is how you will respond when you miss me. I will be gone more often. I pout and he pecks my lips and tells me he is just teasing me.

  I grab Tristan and Tobalts hand. Theo grabs Tristan's other hand. Then we all head out towards the pack house for dinner.

When we arrive I see my mom standing out front with my grandparents and my uncle. I go give her a hug and start balling. She looks at me concerned. 

  I just tell her I am going to miss her. My mates wrap me in their arms and tell me they will be with me. I calm down and we head inside for dinner.

We walk to our seats. I see it is Hawaiin themed. They have a roasted pig, chicken long rice, Molokai sweet potatoes, poi, sweet breads, and a huge salad bar. They also have Hawaiian themed pizza and pineapple smoothies. Everything looks delicious.

We eat and spend time with my mom. Tomorrow we will have breakfast with her at my grandparents then see her off. Then in a couple months we made plans to travel to my home pack to visit her and my dad.
