Chapter 24

Theo's bear form
Tristan (pov)

  Theo and I were at the pack house with Andrews dad Jacob.  We were discussing our plan to keep him safe till the pups were born.  He is head warrior and a good one at that.

  As we were going over battle plans. I felt a pain in my head. Looking at Theo he looked dizzy. He must have felt it to. We look at each other and both growl out Mates.

  Theo gives out a deathly growl and the whole pack is on high alert. Jacob starts shouting orders to his warriors to locate Andrew and Tobalt now.  He looks scary in this mode and I understand why.

  Andrew is his only son and he is expecting his grand pups. I grab Theo and we head towards the woods where our mates took their walk. As we get closer I scent blood and not just anyones blood but Tobalts.

  Theo must have smelt it to because he had tears in his eyes and said my pup.  I said let's go. He transformed into his chestnut brown bear. I know he can track better in this form.

We get closer to a fallen log. I see blood. Then a few feet away I see Tobalt lying unconscious with a head wound.

  Theo transforms back naked. I hand him my hoody not that we care. We run to him and I feel a pulse.

  I am so glad and you can tell Theo is to. He is cradling Tobalt in his arms with his hand on his tummy. I messaged Andrews mom that Theo will meet her at the clinic with Tobalt. I look up as Jacob arrives in wolf form.

  He starts sniffing and I immediately know he is going after Andrew. I look at him determined. I am going with you.

  Theo looks at me and kisses my cheek. He tells me to be safe and please bring Andrew home. I respond we will.

  Please take care of Tobalt. I will he answers me and jogs off with our mate in his arms.  What happened and who took Andrew.

Alexia (pov)

  I hear the sad howl and sudden cammotion. I instantly know something is wrong. I run out of the pack house to chaos. Warriors are shouting orders to patrol the borders. No one is to leave the territory.

  I then see Dr. Rose running out of the pack house. What is wrong I yell. Tobalt is hurt and Andrew has been kidnapped, she says sadly. I stop in my tracks.

  I quickly shake it off. I jog to catch up to her.  I am going with you.  I need to know what happened.  She nods, and we pick up our pace.

  We arrive at the clinic quickly. Theo is just arriving with Tobalt passed out in his arms.  Tobalt is breathing but I see blood dripping down his neck.  Dr. Rose says, bring him into the clinic. We need to get him checked and see if there is any brain trauma.

  I follow them. I then have Theo update me on the situation. Sadly he knows very little. I will have to wait till Tobalt wakes up. The whole time I feel guilty. Such a good guardian I am. I should have been with them.
