Sierra

Once Sierra had eaten the amazing food, she followed the other campers to a big bonfire.

There, the demigods roasted smores and sang silly campfire songs. Sierra thought she was an okay singer, but all of her old friends said she was a beautiful singer. Sierra didn't join in, though. She was thinking about who her father could be. Sierra had always asked her mother about it.

Mom, She would ask, Who is my dad? Why did he leave you?

She would sigh. Sierra, your father was a very powerful man. He loved me, said i had a kind and pure heart. He wished he could stay with me. But he couldn't. I knew that.

Now, Sierra knew the whole truth. She knew her father was a god. Sierra knew for sure that her mother had known, too.

Your father loved you, very much, Sierra. As i do. When you were born, you were our pride and joy. Her mother's words echoed through her mind.

If only i could believe that. The bitter thought passed through Sierra's mind as she watched the flickering flames of the bonfire.

Suddenly, everyone went silent. Everyone stared at Sierra and gasped. Sierra had just enough time to think, Why are they staring at me, before she realized that she was glowing.

Sierra saw that she was surrounded by an outline of golden light.

"What's happening?!?" Sierra asked, panicked.
