A/N: yes I know that the Madrigal are canonical catholic/Christian but I like witchcraft and making my favs do witchy stuff. So here.

It's wet outside. The grass was flooded with rainwater, making the graves look like little island. Two young girls of 12 hop and jump over broken stones, stumps, and over large puddles. The bare trees sway and the rain came heavily down. Luckily the girls were both wearing a thick capes and hoods, one was wearing a blood red and moss green cape while the other a dark blue indigo and maroon cape.

"Blood looks like cranberry juice."
One of the girl, the one in red, says. The other girl just hums a tune, trying to remember the words. She heard one of the adults singing the song, but she can't remember who sang it.

The twin girls, cousin technically, followed the moon as it shine down onto the wet earth fallowing a hidden path. The two come to a mausoleum that was buried under moss and grass, making the building look like it was inside a hill. The two girls climbed up the wet grass and sat onto of the stone.

"Do you have all the supplies?" The girl in blue ask. The red girl nodes and takes her bag and pulls out some items. Both girls were practicing witchs. The gir in red was practicing in moon and music magic while the blue girl was practicing green and death magic. The two girl were in the graveyard because the blue girl, Isabela, need to get some animal bones and dirt while the red girl, Dolores, wanted to get some moon water to recharge Luisa's crystals.

The family was a strange one. They both practice witchcraft but they are also heavily Catholic. Why would a family that is one religion work or practices a complete difference one? Simple the answer was their gifts. Many years ago their girl's Abuela was given a miracle, by God maybe? The miracle happen after their Abuelo sacrifice himself for his family and community. In their Abuela's grift and prayer and love a town and mountains were build, a magical house and on the family's 5th birthday they would receive a gift.

The girl's uncle, Bruno, was the one who started getting into witchcraft. When he got his gift, his room was cover in sand but in a corner there was a bookshelf full of tools and items to help him see into the future. Bruno mess around with the items and books learning more and more about different religious and crafts, it interests him. He got into using tarot cards, originally the card were use for playing, but when Bruno found out that he could use the card to help see the future he try it.

After that he spent more time learning different type of witchcraft and ones he likes. He became a sea and divination witch. He collected sea glasses, sand driftwood, ocean water, and shells. He use these items for visions and for good luck and protection spells. To help Julieta with her healing. This little secret that Bruno did stay with him until he was in his teens.

One day Julieta stumbled on him doing a ritual, she was confused and ask what was going on. Bruno gather his sisters and mother and explain what he was going. His mama, was to say the least was angry and confusing. Why was her son doing thing that was "satanic and evil"? Bruno explain that Casita gave him the objects. Then Bruno went through all his supplies and books and told them gently, that what he was doing was "the devils work" or anything malicious.

His mother after some time and praying to god and to their father, decided that Bruno could keep doing his witch stuff but he couldn't show it to the town, unless any of the town also does witchcraft. After that Julieta and Pepa watch and ask their brother questions. Julieta and Pepa also got into witchcraft. Julieta became a cottage and kitchen witch, using herbs and magic to help her love ones and to help take care of Casita. Using herbs and flowers to help her make her gift be 100% more faster and tasty.

Pepa became a weather and seasonal witch. Given her powers she use air and water a lot. She learn to use the earth and all the elements to help her control her gift and to better her emotions.

Their Mama found out about them. She let them do their magic and she learn a tiny bit of it and use that when she prays. Year later when Julieta and Pepa got married Agustin and Felix were taught about magic and witchcraft. They were interesting and Agustin learn about literary and embroidery magic. While Felix learn music and eclectic, we're he takes bit and pieces of different magic and combine it to make a new thing.

Dolores's second cousin was also starting to get into witchcraft, her being crystals and Hellenic, who follows the Greek gods and their pantheon. As for Dolores's little brother and youngest cousin they were only 4 so they didn't know any witchcraft, when they became older they will.

The two girls continue gathering their supplies, Isabela gather dirt and moss and wilted flowers. Dolores charge Luisa's crystals, and make some moon water and wrote in her journal about the moon and the emotional and physically effects she saw that was affecting her and Isabela and the family.

Once the two girls were satisfied they put back their supplies and left the graveyard. At the gate Isabela stop and turn toward the graves and yelled

"Thank you for letting us be here and take some stuff! Bye!"

Then she turn back toward Dolores. "Tomorrow I'm going to comeback and clean the graves and make sure there no weeds and stuff... AHHHHH!!! Dolly look a dead bird! Aw it's cute. I'm going to take it."

Dolores wrinkle her nose at her cousin, she like to take dead animals and to taxidermy them, or use their parts for rituals or for fertilizer. She most save the bones and weave them into flowers. Dolores roll her eyes and grab Isabela's hand.

"Come on Isa we need to go home. Tia Julieta not going to be happy about the dead bird, she told you not to bring them into the house! But I'll come and help you tomorrow with the graves. The ghost and skeleton will be happy about it."

Isabela nodded and shove the dead bird into her bag then she grab her cousin hand. The two girls ran back home red and blue capes trailing behind them. Giggles and laughing rang throughout the night.
