Making a small grunting sound, Hiro began to wake up. He rubbed his still-throbbing wound on the left side of his head, though it felt that it was patched up with a bandage. Fully opening his eyes, Hiro then realized he was no longer in the snowy forest anymore or anything looking like the Garden.
He found himself in what looked like a bedroom, looking similar to a Royal Chamber. The walls were a charcoal-black color and the wall's seams had a bright-blue luminescent glow to them, which dimly lit up the room. He was currently lying on top of a rectangular-shaped bed, which was levitating a couple of feet above the ground. He no longer wore the coat and was in a bare shirt and pants that he used to wear in the Garden.
Wherever he was at, it was sure not the Garden anymore.
"Ah... I see you finally woke up, little one." a voice nearby said.
Hiro slightly jumped in fear, looking to the other side of his bed, he looked eye to eye with the Klaxosaur Princess. Hiro trembled with fear, his eyes wide, and backed up to the end of his bed.
"W...w...who are you...?" Hiro uttered nervously.
"The one who saved you," the Princess replied bluntly, "Of course, you do not remember seeing me, one of the humans struck you and you fell unconscious."
"W...w...why don't you look like... human?" Hiro stuttered.
"That is because I am not human." the Princess bluntly stated, "I am a Klaxosaur."
"A...A...A KLAXOSAUR!" Hiro exclaimed hysterically, starting to panic.
The Princess sighed.
"I should've waited to tell the human that..." the Princess thought to herself.
The front horn of the Princess then began to glow blue, transmitting her thoughts into Hiro's mind. The thoughts depicted the scene in the forest, showing the soldiers threatening Hiro and how she saved both Hiro and Zero Two. Then there was another scene that showed the Princess swooping in and slaying the soldiers and rescuing Hiro and Zero Two.
Hiro began to slowly calm down, remembering what happened that day and how it looked like the Princess seemed to save him from the armed soldiers.
"S...s...so you... saved me?" Hiro managed to say.
"Yes, from your very own kin little one..." the Princess reassured, "If you are wise, there is nothing to fear about me..."
Hiro realized that this strange-looking woman was here to help him, not hurt them. Though he remembered what he was taught by the adults about the Klaxosaurs, he decided to set them aside for the moment.
Thinking about the situation for a little, Hiro decided to take her word for it.
"Okay... I'll trust you..." Hiro replied.
Suddenly, Hiro realized that Zero Two was nowhere to be seen in the room that he was in. Glancing around the room, it was only him and the Princess.
"What did you do with Zero Two!" Hiro demanded.
"Oh? Your little friend?" the Princess said, "Your little friend is okay after my little battle with the humans. She reacted just like you did when I brought them here but she calmed down, though keeps insisting to me that she see you again."
"I want to see her!" Hiro quickly replied.
"Hmmm, before that, let me make sure your wound has healed..." the Princess said.
The Princess then lowered her head over Hiro's head, checking on the wound that was inflicted by the soldiers. She then licked where his wound was.
"GAH! What are you doing?" Hiro blurted, shocked.
