On that day that Hiro went missing, the whole Garden was placed under a strict lockdown. The whole ordeal would only last a day, with the Garden resuming normal operations a few days after as if nothing had happened. Hiro's disappearance was a tragedy for the children, who saw Hiro as their prodigy. The children's questions about Hiro went unanswered by the adults, with even the children moving on, no longer bothered by Hiro's absence as a couple days passed.
Inside the Garden's playroom, the children played as normal. Except for a blonde-haired child who wore glasses who sat alone in the corner of the playroom. Sitting atop a beanbag while reading a children's book, the child made sure to stay outside of sight of the other children, preferring to remain alone. His code is 056, but he is known as Goro, a name given to him by Hiro. Hiro was one of Goro's closest friends and after Hiro went missing, it was hard for Goro to adapt without him, preferring isolation again.
As Goro silently read his book alone, he heard the sound of what seemed to be a girl crying near where he was. Looking around to find where the sound was coming from, not too far away from him, he saw a familiar friend that he knew. A young girl with short blue hair was huddled up against a wall and covering her eyes with her hands as she silently cried. Her code was 015, known as Ichigo, a name also given to her by Hiro too.
Goro thought about Ichigo, she was his only friend close to him next to Hiro. Against his inner desire being alone, he decided to help her and find out if she was okay. Getting up from his seat, he approached Ichigo.
"I...I...Ichigo, are you okay?" Goro asked meekly.
"G...G...Go away..." Ichigo muttered, still crying.
Letting out a sigh, Goro sat next to Ichigo.
"Is it about Hiro?" Goro asked.
Ichigo at first did not respond, seemingly ignoring what Goro said as she continued to cry.
"It's okay Ichigo, I feel the same way you do..." Goro calmly replied.
"WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE STILL REMEMBERS HIRO!" Ichigo cried, "EVERYONE ELSE HAS MOVED ON BUT ME, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!"
Goro was at first taken aback by Ichigo's reaction.
"I...I...Ichigo." Goro replied back, shocked.
Ichigo resumed crying again, shoving her head onto her knees.
"Ichigo, you're not the only one who remembers him!" Goro asserted.
Ichigo continued to cry, ignoring Goro.
"Hiro was one of my only friends out of all of the children here..." Goro explained, "When word spread of his disappearance, I felt... like what made my whole life went away that instant..."
Ichigo raised her head out of her knees, looking at Goro.
"So... you felt just like me too?" Ichigo replied, sniffling.
