The Only One (A Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Chapter 5

Dani’s POV

I have never been to a One Direction concert before.  The boys said that we shouldn’t have to use Emma’s tickets, so we are sitting in the VIP area. 

The lights dim and everyone in the arena screams.

“I’m guessing that the boys are coming out on stage now?” Katie screams.

“How is everybody doing tonight?”  Louis yells to the audience.

“This song is dedicated to three wonderful girls who are here with us tonight!” Harry tells the audience, and a second spotlight goes on us for a minute.

The guys sing ‘They Don’t Know About Us’

I notice that Louis has his eyes locked with mine for the whole song.

After the concert

Emma’s POV

“Emma? We have got to get you ready for your date with Niall!” Katie exclaims.

“Wait! I don’t even have anything to wear!” I start to panic.

“Already have it!” Dani holds up a pink dress.

“Get changed and I will set up the hair straightener.” Katie says.

“I got the makeup!” Dani whispers.

I change into my dress and put sandals on and walk into the bathroom, where my friends are ready.

Katie hands me her heart necklace. “Here, take my lucky necklace, it looks good with the dress.”

Dani straightens my hair and adds a little wave at the end, while Katie puts a tiny bit of eyeliner and mascara on me.

“Done!” They say at the same time.

“I can’t wait until I see Niall’s expression when he looks at how beautiful you look.” Dani squeals.

“Let’s go then!” Katie walks out first to tell Niall that I’m ready.

“Wow! Emma! Oh my goodness! You look perfect!” Niall obviously likes my outfit.

Niall drives us to the beach. 

“Where should we sit Niall?” I asked him.

“Over here.” Niall leads me to a picnic blanket set up under the stars.

As we lay there, I put my head on his chest.

I look into his blue eyes and smile, wishing we could stay like this all night.

“Emma? I love you. You know that right?”

“Of course I do! I love you too!”

Niall looks me straight in the eyes and kisses me.

“That was my first kiss.” I said dreamily.

When we get back Katie and Danielle pull me into their room.

“Well????? How was it! Did you guys kiss?” Katie jumped up and down on the bed.

“It was great. And yes Katie, I got my first kiss from him.” I said.

Danielle hugged me.

My phone rings.  “Hold on just a second, girls.”

“Hello?” I said.

“Emma? Is that you? Oh my gosh! It’s Grace!”

“Hey little sis! What are you up to?”

“Well, I have news!  I’m coming to see you and the girls tomorrow!”

“Oh my gosh! That’s great!” I whisper to Katie and Danielle what Grace had said.

“I know! So what have you been doing?”

“You know that band One Direction? Well, I just went out on a date with Niall.”

“You what??? Oh gosh Emma. Shoot. Mom’s calling me. Text me with the details later. I can’t wait to see you!”

“Bye Gracie!” I said, and hung up.
