A little more than friends

Chapter 3 : The fight

It was 6am, Catra turned around to see her roommate but to her surprise, the blonde wasn't there. Strangely, Catra was not happy to wake up without seeing Adora even if it's been years since they saw each other.

The feline wanted to go back to bed but couldn't. She heard a noise, like a song.
It was Adora. The singing was coming from the bathroom.

"🎵We're on the edge of greatness, Turning darkness to light, We're right beside you, ready to fight! 🎵"

Adora sang in her shower.

Catra laughed a little as she heard Adora's terrible voice. Adora couldn't sing.

'That dumbass can't do anything.' she thought.

All of a sudden, the feline's brain stopped working and her heart almost jumped out of her chest when she saw the blonde girl with only a small towel around her body as clothing.

"Sorry if I took too much time in the shower." said Adora with a small smile as she took some clothes from her small closet beside her bed.

The cat girl didn't answer, she was just staring at Adora as she changed.

"Catra?"

And only then did Catra stop staring at Adora. Catra blushed directly and dashed to the bathroom.

Both of them were ready to go to class. Adora opened the door of their dorm room and realized that Catra sat on her bed, as if she was waiting for someone.

"Aren't you coming?" the blonde asked.

"We're not friends Adora, I don't see why I should go to class with you. Just go, I'm waiting for Scorpia." the feline said as she took her phone.

Adora didn't say anything and just went to class. She was hurt but felt that deep inside, if she pushed too hard, she would never win back her friendship with Catra.

On the way, Adora ran into Bow and Glimmer. They walked together to their classroom. Not far behind them were Catra, Scorpia and Perfuma.

'I didn't know this idiot had friends.' thought the feline. But suddenly she saw something really weird.

"Adora, I don't know if this is good news or bad news but did you know that Chad might is here?" said Glimmer to her friend.

While Glimmer was asking her question, Adora was drinking water. Upon hearing this question she directly spit out all the water in her mouth.

"WHAT?!" again, Adora had yelled a little too loud and almost everyone heard her.

"Adora calm down, don't yell like that" said Bow trying to calm his friend down.

Obviously, Catra behind, had heard Adora's scream.

"No way Bow! This is a disaster!" said Adora totally in panic.

Adora turned around to see if Catra was there. And she saw her. Their eyes met and Adora quickly grabbed her best friends arms and they went straight down another path.

'What the hell just happened ?' Why did they go another way ?' Catra's thoughts were interrupted by Scorpia.

"Wildcat! Are you alright? Wasn't that blonde girl that was in front of us the one you're so obsessed with?"

"Shut up Scorpia." said the cat girl.

"I hate her." she continued.

"My plants didn't tell me that Catra." said Perfuma with a big smirk .

"Your weird plants don't know anything about me." said Catra.

"Maybe or maybe not." said the flower girl.
