Adora woke up and immediately noticed that Catra was not here.'If she's not here, then she spend the night out ?' the blonde thought.
A few days passed and Adora didn't see Catra in the dorms anymore, only in class. Adora tried to ask the feline why she didn't come back anymore but it always ended in an argument.
"Damn it Adora, leave me alone! Stop following me like a dog."
"I just wanted to know if you wanted to do the chemistry assignment with me."
"No! I'm doing it with Entrapta!"
"Do you want to eat with me and the others today maybe ?"
"NO Adora ! Leave me alone, I don't want to do anything with you!"Several days had passed since Catra didn't come back to the dorms anymore and it bothered Adora a lot.
One day, Adora got up and felt a huge headache, so she went back to bed.
'Ugh I don't feel like going to class today.'
Then someone knocked on the door. Adora didn't want to get up but the person insisted, so she finally got up to see who was knocking.
The blonde opened the door and saw that it was Glimmer.
"Hey Glimmer..." said Adora in a very tired tone.
"Hi Adora, sorry to bother you but can I take my shower in your bathroom?" asked Glimmer with a little smile.
"Don't you have a bathroom?" asked Adora as she let her friend in.
"Yeah, but Mermista's been using it for almost two hours and if this keeps up I'll be late for class."
"Ah okay, I see. Go ahead, I'm starting later today anyway."
"Great, thanks Adora." said Glimmer before heading to the blonde's bathroom.
Before she could even take another step, someone else before knocked on the door.
'Who the hell is it this time.' she thought.
"Hi Adora." said Bow with a worried look.
"Hi Bow, what's going on?" asked Adora.
"The dean is asking to see you." said Bow before taking his friend in his arms.
"Adora, you know I'm your friend, you can tell me anything." he said tearfully.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?" he shouted.
"Bow, you're overreacting, I promise you I didn't do anything." she would say reassuring her friend.
"I hope so." he said as he let go of his friend.
"See you later."
"See you later Bow."

Adora was sitting in the waiting room next to the dean's office. The poor girl was stressing so much because she didn't know why she had been summoned to the dean's office.
The secretary told her that she could go into the dean's office. So she entered, but to her surprise, Catra was there with him.
"Hello principal." said Adora shakily as she sat down in the empty chair next to the feline.
"Prime, Principal Prime. You don't need to be afraid my child, you haven't done anything wrong." he would say with a smile, even though, that smile scared Adora even more
"Then why am I here, Principal Prime." asked Adora shyly.
"Your roommate asked to be moved to a new room. As Dean, it is my duty to inform you personally. Miss Horde, here are the keys to your new room."
Dean Prime handed over the keys to the feline's new room.
Adora didn't even know what to say. Her heart was broken. All she could do was watch her friend take the keys and leave without saying a word.
She got up and started to follow the feline to the dorms. Catra was already packing her suitcase, still not paying the slightest attention to Adora. The feline's eyes were swollen, as if she had been crying all night. The silence in the room was cut off by Adora.
"Could I at least have an explanation as to why you left?!" she said almost in tears. The blonde approached the cat girl trying to take her hand, but the feline pushed her directly.
"Get away from me !" shouted Catra.
"Catra, are you crying ?" asked Adora worried about her friend. But Catra didn't answer. She continued to pack her suitcase.
"Damn it Catra, answer me!" said Adora.
And that's when Catra turned back to the blonde and looked her straight in the eye. The feline's heterochromatic eyes made Adora tremble.
What Adora didn't know was that Catra had been drinking, and not just a little, early in the morning. So Catra was a little drunk. She wasn't in control of everything she said.
"You want to know why I'm moving rooms? It's because I know what you're trying to do Adora. Since day one your first intention was to become friends with me again but what your stupid brain doesn't understand is that I NEVER wanted to become your friend again Adora. I HATE YOU! I don't want to wake up every morning in this fucking school and see your stupid face. You leaving me was the worst moment of MY ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE!... Don't you see? You're the reason my life sucks Adora."
...
"Catra I-"
"Stop it, I don't wanna hear from you." said Catra as she picked up her suitcase and left the room.
"Goodbye Adora."
Adora was now alone in the room. Tears streaming down her face as if she had just been told she was going to die.
She knew that one day she would see Catra again, but in all the scenarios she had made for herself, she never imagined that her reunion with the feline would end this way.
'Is this the end? Will I finally not be able to get closer to her? Did I just lose Catra forever?' she thought.
From that day on, Adora had decided to give the feline some space. She figured she wouldn't be able to regain the bond she had with Catra anyway.
