A little more than friends

Chapter 9 : Adora's first game

Adora and Catra woke up at the same time. It had been a few weeks since their little intimate moment. They had decided not to talk about it and to pretend it never happened

It would bother Adora a lot because she just couldn't forget that moment, and neither could Catra. But Catra was afraid to talk about it

"Hey princess" said Catra in her raspy morning voice

"Hey kitten, did you sleep well?" asked Adora

"Stop calling me kitten" said Catra, blushing

"I'll stop if you stop calling me princess" said Adora before laughing

They both got up to get ready for class

Catra headed to the bathroom, she was doing her usual hairstyle when Adora interrupted her

"You should do a different hairstyle today"

"Are you saying you don't like my usual hairstyle?" said Catra in a hurt tone even though she wasn't hurt at all, she was just teasing Adora

Adora really thought she had hurt the feline's feelings

"No no no! I'm not saying I don't like your usual hairstyle, I really like it, it's beautiful! You look beautiful- well I don't wanna say you look beautiful- but I'm not saying you look ugly either- I mean-"

"Adora chill, I was just messing with you" said the feline with a flirty look

"I'll change my hair only if you change yours too." said the cat girl

"I'm okay with that"

Adora walked over to Catra and grabbed a brush and a rubber band

"A ponytail?! Seriously Adora?"

"Trust me, you'll look so good in it" she said before kissing the feline's cheek

Catra started to blush

She looked at herself in the mirror

"Actually, it's not that bad"

"See! I told you so"

"Your turn, princess"

Catra took the brush back and stood behind Adora. She removed the elastic from the blonde's hair and began to brush that hair

Catra was very gentle in her movements. She didn't want to hurt her friend

"Catra I just have loose hair "

"Trust me, it's a big difference for someone who always has a ponytail. Besides, it looks good on you"

They finished getting ready and headed to class

In class, Catra sat in the back as usual so she could admire her friend

Jake came in and sat behind Adora to annoy Catra

Adora sat in the front talking with Bow

"Okay guys, today I'm going to give you the names of the students who will be in the same group for the science presentation" the teacher explained

The teacher began to call out the names of the students in the same group. He was slowly coming to the end of his list

"Glimmer Glittery, you will be with Catra Horde, and Jake Bishop"

Catra stood up from her chair

"What?! I'm with the other idiot?!"

Jake stood up as well
