Chapter 11 I'm going to kill you

Khalil's Pov

Cass and I were laying down on my bed

"You know on the second day we met that night when I was drunk you told me about Cole mentoring you but I didn't know it was for this, usually involving gangs and mafia's the bosses never show venerability to other bosses, that means you really trust him" he says

"Yeah I do" I mumbled into his chest

"I want to meet him"

I sit up "No"

He frowns "But why? you said it yourself he's a great person, smart, and collective"

"Yes but he doesn't know you, No one is allowed to bring anyone into his home, not even within a ten feet range of him" I said standing up

"And why is that huh?"

"It's because that's just the way he is, no one ever sees him unless he wants you to. he sets people out for missions, meetings, and other things but they don't see him" I sighed trying to get him to not even think about Cole.

This life is too dangerous for Cass.

He just nods

"Another thing, Cass do you remember when we first met and I was asking you about a building and you gave me an address" I said

"Yeah what about it?" He asks

"Do you know the person who owns it because I was never able to meet the owner" because that bitch wanted to sleep with me!

"Oh yeah, I do but he says not to give his name out, but I'll tell you" he walks in front of me

"It's okay I want to prove to Cole that I can achieve things on my own" I grunt tracing my hand on his face.

"I'm proud of you" he grins sheepishly and kisses my lips

"Gosh, you're such a tease!" I bite his lip and pulled him into me.

''Yeah you're right but I'm your tease'' he smirks pulling away and walking to the door, me being me followed him to wherever he is going.

''Where are you going, Cass'' I asked

''Home''

''But why I thought we were chilling out by me today'' I said confused

He smirks ''I would but I have work, Khalil. how do you think I can afford a place to live''

''Don't get smart with me'' I huffed walking ahead of him opening my room door and leading him towards the front door

''What time do you get off? I'll pick you up'' I said smiling at him

''You're clingy huh?'' he looks at me grinning

''No, I'm not''

He just smiles

Walking towards me he kisses me on my forehead, he gives me one more smile before leaving.

It's been 3 hours since he was gone and I was here doing some paperwork. Now it's time for me to go on the job.

If you want to know what I'm talking about I'm meaning the fact that I have to find out who owns that building.

One step at a time just one step at a time

I parked my car a block down and then walked the rest of the way to the office this time I won't allow myself to be distracted, walking to the front desk I see a different person behind the desk.

''Hello, Goodday I have an appointment with the boss I couldn't make it the last time because I was harassed'' I stated bluntly trying to say it nicely.

''Oh, you're the guy from the other day! we're deeply sorry for what happened including my boss, Mr. Black said to bring you straight to his office if you ever came back he would like to apologize and start your appointment from there'' She gives me an apologetic smile

Great!! this is my chance

''Thank you so much'' I said happily

"Okay so just follow me to the waiting room and I'll be with you in three minutes I just want to notify Mr. black that you're here" she says walking me to the waiting room.

Once we got there she left and told me she'll be back, so I decided to look around there was some tables with snacks, food and drink. And there were some men in here as well wearing suits.

They were laughing and talking about someone but I wasn't really paying attention I turned my head down and tap my foot to the ground patiently waiting.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear, look whose here" I heard one of the men spoke but I didn't raise my head to see who they were meaning.

"I don't have time for this today" I heard a low voice. But I didn't look up I was too busy thinking about how I'm gonna convince their boss to sell the building to me

"Look dude you're unwanted here the only person who wants you here is the boss and he doesn't even comes down here in this block" this caught my interest

I started to look up when I heard an oof came out of someone mouth.

I heard a slap which made me stop my slow pace and raised my head up immediately.

They were both hitting on the guy who just came in. his face already had a bruise I'm guessing he got slapped hard.

"Hey leave him alone" I said having enough of this foolishness I couldn't see the guys face but I know those hits hurt him.

I hate people taking advantage of the weak

The two bullies looked my way "We'll do whatever we feel like punk"

I raised a brow at their behavior.

I was about to walk up to them when a voice stopped me "Khalil, no it's okay I'm alright"

I froze

the voice sounded way to familiar. Why haven't I realized it before.

No it can't be.

The guy on the ground slowly turned his head towards me. Please don't be him

He fully turned his head towards me "C-Cass"

He tried to stand up but was punched in his gut, knocking the wind out his mouth.

My eyes flamed away from him and towards his co workers

"I'm going to kill you"  I barked at the one who just punched him.

I pulled my gun out

"N-no Khalil don't" But it was to late, I was enraged with anger.

BAM!

BAM!

The sound echo throughout the building

The guy blood splattered everywhere

I put it away and rushed over to Cass putting his arm around me I started to walk him to the door when it bust open revealing the one person who I've been searching for standing right in my face.

Looking at me in shock but in all actually it was going both ways. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Cass coughing "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I got distracted let's go" I hurriedly got out of their and carried him to my place.

I can't believe he was there.

Grey was actually there and he doesn't look the same as he did last time!
