Khalils pov

Cass sits on the edge of the bed and looks at me silently

"What?" I ask softly I knew I was wrong for acting like that during the meeting

"I honestly have no words. I just never thought you were like this and I never expected myself to fall for you like this and it's sucks because you obviously have no respect for me whenever Cole or this mafia is involved" he replies

"That's not true" I defended

"Sure it isn't, and where is this trainee you said you slept by? What's his name? Why did you go sleep there?" He looks at me for a second but I don't say anything

"Forget about it, Khalil I'm glad you introduced me to your family I see why you'd want to keep them all to yourself but honestly.....nothing I don't want to disrespect the person I'm with" he gets up and goes to the closet

"I'm sorry Cass I'm sorry for what I did I know it was a dick move" I trailed behind him but my apology lit a fire under him

"Yes it fucking was, you making me seem weak in front of everyone else, I didn't earn my reputation by being a pussy so don't go trying to speak for me when you don't know shit!" He explodes angrily

"I know that now and I apologize Cass" I whisper

"It sure doesn't feel that way and this relationship that I'm basically forcing and holding together by myself is a lot! It's like you don't even want this" he says putting on a different shirt as I stare at his defined abs

"But I do want this relationship Cass, not every relationship will be perfect!"

"And I understand that but both people have to work and put in the effort but it seems that you're only into something physical because I want us to build a genuine connection like when we first met but it's like everything was just a dream or a cover and reality just hit somewhere along the way" he says shaking his head

"I am the same me it's just that I came with a lot more problems than you expected" I reasoned

"Guess I'm not as strong as I thought when it comes down to that then, let's talk about this another time and I can see that you did something with that trainee of yours, if you didn't notice your limping and slowing down your pace every time you walk" When he said that I watch a tear drop out his eyes

"Baby please no don't go, we have to talk about this now or we'll never go back to the way we're when we leave for this mission we won't ever have the time. Let me explain Cass, please" I started to cry out to him but I can tell he's already detached himself from me mentally he was just only here physically

"Let's go down to the training area Luke and the guys will be waiting on us" he mumbles out wiping his eye leaving me in the room to break down by myself

Once I got into the training area the guys were partner up

John and one of our members along with two others on the side of them

And there was Luke standing up by himself

"Okay now that you all reach you two will partner up with one of the guys standing next to John and his partner" Luke says pointing at them

We did as he said and separated towards a different partners

"Who will you partner up with since there's noone else?" Blake ask

Luke opens his mouth to talk when someone else beat him to it "that'll be me" Cole appears out of nowhere

I was a little shock, he usually never participates in trying with us, he's normally on stand by and just shouting orders

"This is gonna be interesting" John mutters low

"Yes Luke versus Cole this is going to crazy!" Blake says

"Why is that?" I hear Cass ask softly

"Because Cole taught Luke everything he knows" Alex says

"So that means Luke's going to lose horribly" Cass states

"Not really, remember that if Cole taught him all those moves he uses, Luke can be able to detect his moves as well" Alex replies

"Eh we'll see" John mutters

"Okay Khalil and Canon you're up" Luke shouts

Me and Canon circle each other both with no weapons

"You have two minutes to take your opponent down if none of you have it done you are going to be severely punished both of you" Cole said setting a timer

"Now I remember why I never use to beg him to train us back then" I muttered lowly

"Begin!"

Canon comes rushing at me full force

Remember whenever an opponent is coming at you hard keep your knee up just a little

Cass Pov

I was as Khalil raises his knee up, this isn't something you'll notice if you aren't paying attention closely

"Ah I see he actually remembered" Luke says

"Yes he did" Cole nods in agreement

I looked over their way and listened

"But that's if he knows what to do with this move" John says walking next to us

"And what exactly is the move?" I asked

Cole looks at me smiling "You remind me so much of your brother it kills me"

I nod not knowing what to say

I watch him move closer to me "The move is only use for opponents coming rushing at you hard so this is how it goes, you slowly raise your leg into knee position without your opponent seeing because if they see they will slownthe attack or be more cautions so watch as he goes full hard at Khalil now I'm thinking Khalil remembers the whole move because he's even trying it, now watch as he comes closer and closer towards Khalil but keep an eye on his leg"

Every step the Canon takes towards Khalil his legs go up but still not high enough for him to see, but Khalil looks as if he's going to swing at him with his fist

I gasped "Now I know what he's going to do"

Cole chuckles "Yes and that is how he's going to take Canon down"

Canon fist inches from khalil's face and in milli seconds Khalil uses his leg and slams it down onto his back bringing him to the ground

Damn. I wanna try that

"It's cool huh?" Cass smirks

I nod slowly still amazed

"And he says I taught him nothing" Cole scoffs in a playful manner

"Okay next up is Blake and Alex" Luke says

"I wonder whose going to win this?" I said stretching my arms

"It'll most likely be Blake" Khalil says sitting on the ground next to me as I continously stretch

"But he's so pla-"

"Playful? Yeah I know but he's got the built and strength" Khalil says

"That is true" John agreed

After three minutes Blake had won.

"Okay Cass and Casper you're up next"

As I begin to walk towards the middle area Cole walks beside me "Just a little tip, when something goes up it must always come down"

I gulped but nodded anyway
