Archer's POV

Tuesday a few days later...

I walked out of my classroom when my english lesson ended. It was my second last class of the day, now I was headed to the school gym for my PE-class. Just when I was about to turn right down the hall, I saw Dean across the hall. He looked up and waved when he saw me. I waved back before I kept on walking towards the gym.

"Hey, I saw you wave to that Dean guy. Are you friends with him?" A masculine voice suddenly said and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I pulled my shoulder away and his hand fell of. I turned to see who it was and saw that it was some random dude from my class.

"Yeah, I know him. Why?" I asked as we kept on walking to the school gym.

"He is weird. Don't you know?" He said and looked into my eyes.

"Know what?" I asked.

"That he is gay?" He said and looked down onto the ground. I stopped and he turned towards me with a questioning look on his face.

"So what? That doesn't make him weird. What's weird is that you can't accept it." I said with an angry tone on my voice. I looked him into his eyes with a serious look before I turned around and started walking back. Aint no way in hell that I'm going to that lesson now.

I started walking with a fast pace home. Sure, he shouldn't have said that but why am I raging? I feel like I'm about to lose it any second. I pick my phone up from my pocket as an useless try to distract myself. Then, suddenly I see todays date. Ofcourse...

It's a fullmoon tonight, how could I forget? On the day of the fullmoon I sometimes feel like my entire body is on fire. That's why my anger was so easily triggered. It's not exactly easy to stay calm when you are already on edge, physically and mentally.

A few hours later...

I was standing bendt over the sink in the kitchen when my phone pinged. I took another glass of water before I reached for my phone placed on the kitchen island. The screen lit up and I saw that I had gotten a message from Dean.

5.17 PM Hi, you wanna hang out tonight?

Shit. What am I gonna say? Should I say that I'm not feeling well or should I be honest? I stood up straight and moved my fingers across the screen.

5.19 PM Sorry, I can't tonight.

I put the phone down on the bench next to the sink. It pinged almost immediately again and I picked it back up.

5.19 PM Why?

Did he really have to ask why? Not that I want to hide it from him, I just don't feel like talking about it.

5.20 PM Well, it's a fullmoon tonight.

5.21 PM Guess I'm gonna have to keep track of the fullmoons from now on then. ;)

5.21 PM Guess so.

5.22 PM Would it be weird if I said good luck?

5.23 PM Kind of haha.

5.23 PM Well, good luck anyways. :)

I'm like actually smiling, I thought nothing would make me smile today.

Suddenly there is a knock on the door. I put my phone into my pocket and walks to the door. I sniff and then I feel her scent. That awful female wolf scent, with that disgusting tint of cheryl blossom. I opened the door and there she stood, Riley. The only teen female of the pack. In our pack there is mostly males, only a few females being Riley and then some moms.

Riley was wearing a pair of distressed jeans shorts and a cream tank top. Her brown hair was in a big messy bun on the top of her head. She looked me up and down before she took a step inside.

"Looking good Archie, did you workout?" She said teasingly as she drew her nail along my shirtless abs when she walked past me. I turned towards her as I closed the door.

"What do you want, Riley?" I asked already tired of her presence. She turned towards me and sneered at me.

"There is a packmeeting here at your house before the fullmoon. Didn't you dad tell you that?" She said, smirked and walked into the living room.

Riley sat down on the sofa and put her feet on the table. I walked into the living room and put my arms over my chest. She looked at me with a nonchalant face.

"You might be an animal, but do you really have to act like one." I said and she took her feet of the table.

"You can be really boring sometimes, you know that?" She said and grabbed an apple from the bowl on the table.

I heard the frontdoor opened and I turned around to see who it was. It was my dad and some of the other pack members. Dad walked into the living room and looked at me.

"Wow, you are actually here. On a pack meeting?" He said and smirked. God I hate him when he does that face, trying to look like he is the alpha of the entire planet.

A few hours later...

As we walked into the forest I felt the wolf inside me growl, it longed for the fullmoon and the moon was waiting for me. Riley walked up by my side and I saw her claws and fangs starting to grow. Most of the pack was in front of us and a few behind us.

"You seem upset Archie, what are you upset about?" She asked as her voice darken into a growl.

"Why do you even care?" I said and she growled at me.

The moon was taking its position as the darkness fell around us. Riley got down on all fours an started turning. Soon she was fully turned and running into the forest. All the members of the pack started turning and ran into the darkness deep within the trees.

I looked up at the fullmoon and felt it pulling at every cell in my body. I started running and then I threw myself in the air. I landed on all four paws and ran into the dark.
