Archer's POV

Thursday, a few days later...

"Dean?" I said, letting my hand travel upp his back.

School ended a few hours and now we were laying on a blanket on the lawn behind my house.

"Mhm?" He hummed half asleep.

"I think we should make our relationship public. Not make a big announcement or anything, just stop sneaking around." I said and Dean's eyes opened up. His gaze soon moved go me.

"You mean that I can kiss you whenever I want?" He said and smiled.

"Yeah." I said and pulled my fingers through his hair.

"Wow." He breathed and looked deeply into my eyes.

God, I love his eyes so much. I love him so much. I love everything about him. The way he looks at me, the way he get dimples when he smiles, the way he really fucking cares. I also love his ass, but thats not the point.

As we laid there on the lawn, I closed my eyes, letting all smells nearby enter my nose.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I sat up, gasping for air. Dean quickly sat up, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"Arch, your eyes!" He shouted.

My eyes had shifted. I looked towards Dean and then the tiniest smirk spread across his lips. Then I understood, it has happend. I'm the alpha now.

"They are red huh?" I whispered.

"Yeah. And it's very, very attractive." He whispered, his breaths uneven.

I leaned closer to him, making him lay back down. I leaned down close to him, leaving a few inches between hour noses. It was driving him crazy, I could tell.

He placed his hand behind my neck, pulling me downwards. I stopped his as our noses were almost touching.

I looked straight into his eyes as I shifted my eyes back. His grip on my neck tightened and I couldn't help but let out a soft moan.

"I love you so much." I said and leaned down, crashing my lips onto his. His other hand found my shoulder as our lips moved in sync.

His lips parted and his tounge licked my lower lip. I parted my lips as well, licking his tounge.

Then he broke the kiss, giggling.

"And I love you, Archer." He said and smiled.

I layed down next to him, my head on his shoulder. I put my arm around his waist, pulling him in close.

We layed there for a while until a female scent entered the garden. A few seconds later her steps were getting closer.

"So this is what our big alpha is doing? Sleeping?" She said mockingly

I sat up and looked towards her. She had the biggest grin spread across her face.

"The whole pack is gonna be here soon. You maybe wanna send Dean home or they are gonna try to eat him." She said and blinked. She was obviously trying to make a joke but it wasn't exactly funny.

"Really funny." I said before turning towards Dean again. He was also siting up now. "Dean, you heard her."

He smiled and gave me a kiss on my cheek before standing up.

"Goodbye." He said. "And uhm, dont forget that schooltrip on tuesday next week. I want you to be there."

"Ofcourse, bye." I said as he started walking away.

"Bye Deanie." Riley said and Dean only sighed.

And then a few seconds later he was out of sight and I looked towards Riley. She walked over to me and sat down next to me.

"Why are the pack gonna come here?" I asked her.

"What do you think dumbass?" She said and grinned. "Your the new alpha now and there has to be some sort of celebrating. It's one of the rules, remember?"

"Oh, yeah." I sighed and laid back down.

Riley layed down as well, both of us staring up into the sky. Right now the sun stood high on the sky but tonight it was going to rain. I could smell it.

After a while I heard Riley sigh and then her heartbeat speed up before I felt her gaze on my face.

"You really do love him, don't you?" She asked slowly.

"Yes, I do." I said and kept my eyes on the sky.

"The pack will have a hard time accepting it at first, but they will learn to live with it. They have to, you are their alpha now." She said and took a deep and long breath. "I know it might be hard, but just be yourself. Okay?"

I'm actually speechless. Why would she say that? Riley is one of the biggest bitches I have ever met, and she is never kind to anyone. So why is she so nice now all of a sudddn.

"Okay." I whispered.

A few minutes later the pack members started entering the garden. Soon every single on of them was there, everyone exept my father.

Everyone walked up to me one by one and said what they wanted to say. Either they congratulated me or they said that they were proud to have an alpha like me.

As the evening went on all of them gathered in a half circle in front of me. They bowed for me, every single on of them.

Well, that was new.
