chapter 9

Mist's POV

When we arrived at sky's room the first thing I realised was that all of the walls where gold or as sky called it butter. After a while of me and sky hanging out alone everyone else arrived. Luckily for me I knew everyone there. There was sky, Ty, Jason, Mich, jurome, flo, seto and Quinton. Then I noticed one person I didn't know he had dark brown hair and he wore a black suit, a white shirt, a orange tie and a pair of sunglasses. I walked over to sky and asked who he was "he's bodil, he is amazing at parkor and he is our explosives expert" sky explained. After being told who he was I decided to go over to him and say hi "hi bodil" I said and he looked around. I guess he can't see me "bodil I'm down here" I said and he looked down and he yelled at sky "sky I think one of you're dogs got out" now that hurt. I gave up on trying to talk to him and left the room.

I decided to wait outside of sky's room and played around with my headset. After a while I noticed that one of the earpieces could be twisted so i did what any normal creature should do and twisted it the whole way round and something amazing happened. I was human but I still had my ears, tail and my sharp teeth. I was wherein a pair of blue jeans, a blue short sleeved shirt and my collar had turned into a necklace. I put my headset around my neck and headed back in sky's room to see how people would react.

I decided to sneak into the room so I could scare sky who was talking to Ty and Jason. I snuck behind sky and I put my finger over my lips telling Ty and Jason to not tell sky that I'm behind him. I grabbed onto his shoulders, shock him and barked in his ear causing him to jump into Jason's arms yelling "Jason I'm startled!". His reaction caused everyone in the room to laugh including me who was laughing my tail off (not literally) and when I breathed in I made a dolphin sound and then I stopped since i was a bit embarrassed. "Mist is that you" Jason asked and I nodded in reply "what happened" Ty questioned "I was fiddling with my headset, twisted one of the earpieces and this happened" I explained and went over to bodil to get some payback for him calling me a dog.

I snuck behind bodil and stole his sunglasses. "Hay whoever stole my glasses can you give them back since they are prescription" he said in a thick Bulgarian accent which I didn't notice before. I walked in front of him seeing that he had his eyes closed "only if you open you're eyes" I said "ok but you have to take me to a room where no one will see" he replied. I did as he said and led him to sky's bedroom "you can open them now" I said. Bodil opened his eyes to reveal a pair of bright orange eyes "now will you give me my glasses back?" he asked and I handed them to him and he put the back on "much better" he whispered to himself. "why did you steal my glasses?" he asked "it was payback for calling me a dog when I am a wolf" I replied still a bit annoyed about it "I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you" he said, kissed me on the cheek and left. I blushed at what just happened and then I noticed something. He stole my headset.

Bodil's POV

I walked out of the room blushing slightly at what I just did and I had a tight grip on the hybrids headset and walked over to sky. "Hi bodil" sky greeted happily "hi sky" a answered "have you met Mist yet?" He questioned "you meen the hybrid that scared you" I replied and he nodded "then yes I have" "bodil what is that in you're hand?" sky questioned me "Mist stole my glasses so I stole her headset while she was distracted" I said looking at the headset and twisted one of the earpieces. I looked back at sky to see that he had stepped back a bit "sky why di-" I was interrupted by being pinned down by a curtain blue wolf "give it back" Mist growled. I sighed in defeat "fine" I said and handed it to her. She got off my back, twisted the earpiece, turned human and put it back around her neck "thank you" she replied

Mist's POV

After I got my headset of Bodil we heard sky yell "karaoke time" and everyone cheered except for me since I didn't like to sing in front of a crowd on my own (that is a true fact about me). Sky sung his song New world and Bodil sung the story of my life and everyone nearly went death since he doesn't exactly have the voice of an angle that was probably because he was singing it as a joke and he was screeching it. "Mist how about you sing" Jason suggested "there is no way you are getting me up there" I said "come on Mist you'll be grate" sky said "guys no means n-" I was cut off by the sound of glass braking. We looked to where the sound came from to see a squid holding Bodil trying to drag him out the window. I turned into my original form pinned the squid down and killed it and with it's last breath it said "traitor" and it died "I wonder what it meant by traitor?" I asked no one in particular.
