"Finally, Lisa has introduced a girl to us! I hope I won't hear some issues anymore linking you to our cabin crews. It's time to change, Lisa. Jennie, welcome to the family." Her Dad is so happy. Lisa really looks like him.

We met them over dinner after we shopped for my clothes. Madame is here and it feels so awkward that her Dad's current wife is also present. My mom and Rosé are also here. My father wanted to come too but this is a sudden dinner call so they were not able to travel to the city.

"Family." Lisa smirked.

I am marrying a person who has grudges in her heart to her family.

"So, when is the wedding, Lisa and Jennie?" Her father's wife asked.

"Within the week. It's just going to be simple. Rosé helped me processing everything. Jennie is eighteen and no problem." Lisa told them while we eat.

When I was a kid, I was dreaming for a beautiful garden wedding. It hurts me a bit knowing that I won't be able to achieve that. But will I still ask for more when Lisa will be my everyday companion? I think I'm content and happy that we'll be married. I know that this went so fast. But I am sure in my heart that I am in love with her and I will take care of her everyday.

"Great! I'll buy a house for you and Jennie." Her father told her.

"No. I can buy a house for us. I am actually choosing from four options now. You'll give us one and then what? You're going to force me to run your company in return? Thanks, Dad. But no." Lisa is becoming mad. I think I am going to deal with her anger issues.

I rubbed her thigh to calm her. It somehow worked, but she still argues with her family.

"Lisa, you are really hard-headed. How many times do I have to tell you that you are fit for this. We all know why you can't fly forever. And talking about your salary, I know you earn so big now as a pilot, but if you agree, you will own the airline and it's going to give you a lot more fortune." Mr. Manoban is hopeful.

"I will not be happy sitting on your chair and taking over all the responsibilities. Dad, you know how passionate I am when it comes to my job." She is really a fighter.

"We know. But we are also aware that you might risk lives, Lisa. Please do not deny the fact that you have a condition to take care of. Did you see your Doctor lately? Did he suggest for an operation already?" Her dad looked so worried.

"I am fine. Ok? What operation are you talking about? It won't lead to that. I know how to handle my heart." Reasons here and there from my Lisa.

We called it a night, but Mr. Manoban talked to me when everyone went out of the restaurant and Lisa used the comfort room.

"Please be patient with her. She really has anger issues that you haven't experienced yet. She can be someone you did not expect, Jen. But I would like to thank you. I never thought she would think of marriage. I don't know what she sees in you, but for sure, she loves you." He told me while we're walking out of the restaurant.

Love. I am not sure of that because she never told me she loves me. I am scared of what I will hear from her if I ask. Maybe she will also learn to love me eventually. Or maybe she does, but knowing her, she's not too expressive when it comes to this thing. You wouldn't marry someone out of love, right?

We all parted ways. My Mom joined Rosé and Madam. She has to fix all her stuff. Lisa and I will bring her to our house at the province after the wedding this week.

Lisa brought me to a club. She said we'll be meeting with some of her co-pilots and friends.

As we are approaching the couch where they are all drinking, I noticed her circle of friends are rich as her and really have the elegance.
