JENNIE

I left her room right away after I told her what I'm afraid of last night. I woke up with painful thighs this morning. But when I think of how she touched me, I forget about the aches. I even woke up smiling.

I brought myself to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I'm about to start cooking when I heard two people talking and laughing on something. It's my Mom's voice and Lisa's.

They are both talking at the back part of the house. I peeked and saw Mom washing the clothes while Lisa is so happy talking to my mother about her trips. My mom calls her 'child'. Lisa and I have been having sex but it's the first time I got to see her smile. She talks about some tourist spots she went to during stopovers and some of her funny layover stories.

"Really? Is that all you are going to tell me, Lisa? Hmmm." My mom is teasing her. I could still hear them chatting while I went back cooking.

"Okay. I know you're going to dig about my sex life again, Ma!" Oh. She calls my mother 'Mama'".

"Will you stop playing with girls? Someday, if you'll have a daughter of your own, you'll really regret what you have been doing now. And you also have a sister. Karma is just around the corner, Lisa. I don't want you to suffer." She told her.

"I stopped. Relax! Ok. So, I met this girl in Seoul. I'm not in love with her just to be clear. It's just that, I have sexual compatibility with her that I haven't found on some women. From that day on, I really didn't like sleeping with them. But I admit I had few after her. But lately, all I want is her." Ouch. There's no chance for her to really love me back. There you go, Jennie. It's clear straight from Lisa. Control your feelings. Stop being in love with someone you can't reach.

"That's good to know. But whoever that is, do not hurt her. I know you." Mom's advice.

"Ma, will it be ok if I make Jennie as my personal assistant here at home? I think I need her." Lisa asked my Mom. Why?

"I think you have to talk with your Mom about that. As what I have heard yesterday, she warned Jennie to stay away from you." Mom said.

"That bitch. You know, how I wish I'm no longer in this house. Maybe I should buy my own since I have savings already. How I wish my real mother is still here. I don't even understand why my Dad agreed that I stay here with her." I could feel disappointment and hurt in Lisa's voice.

"Lisa, don't say that. Your Mom loves you. She is just strict." My mother tried to pacify her.

"Loves me? If she really loves me, she wouldn't force me to marry the person I don't like. I'm not a kid anymore, Ma. But love is not really for me. I'm not even feeling it yet and I don't want to." I wonder what hinders her to fall in love.

Food is ready and I brought it inside the dining room. Rosé is already sitting while drinking her coffee. She is so pretty. Lisa came in and my body started to tremble inside. Why am I this nervous?

She looked at me with no emotions at all.

"Hi, Jennie! Looks like you cooked something delicious again! By the way, this is my younger sibling. Lisa, this is Jennie. She is Mama Cathy's daughter." Rosé introduced us to each other but Lisa did not look at me. She tasted the food and moaned.

"They say when you cook good food, you also taste good." My heart pumped so fast upon hearing Lisa's early morning joke.

"You're gross! Jennie cooked all these. Stop doing that, Lisa. Respect her." Rosé scolded the younger.

Lisa just continued eating like a hungry kid. When their Mom suddenly went inside the dining room, Lisa stood up.

"Where are you going? You haven't finished your breakfast yet." Madame is so scary.
