I got ready for school, I wore a yellow dress with a ribbon matching it.

I made toast, eggs, and bacon. I picked up the toast and took a bite, I got my milk and sipped it.

Once I was done eating breakfast, I got my things and opened the door, walking out.

Once I got there, I went to Anne, Diana, and Cole. "Hey. Apparently Josie is gonna play spin the bottle with the whole class.. and Gilbert's joining." Diana said.

I looked at them, "W-Well.. I guess I'll go. But, only because Gilbert is." I nodded.

"Why? So you can get the chance to smooch him?" Cole said, making kissing noises.

I playfully hit him, "Shut up!" I replied, causing the girls and Cole to guffaw.

Gilbert walked up behind me, smiling. "Hey, you gonna play spin the bottle?" He asked.

I nodded, "Yeah I guess so." I smiled back.

"Ooh!" My friends looked at each other, smirking. my eyes widened, looking back at them.

Gilbert chuckled awkwardly, I turned back.

"Uh- I gotta go put my milk down by the stream.." I smiled, having the same awkwardness as Gilbert.

I walked outside, about to put my milk down by the stream until Josie and Ruby came along.

I looked at them and already knew what was gonna happen..

But, Josie looked rather sad, or guilty. She gulped. Ruby was crying, "Look-" I said but they interrupted me.

"Ruby, I don't wanna do this anymore. Just get over Gilbert already! he's never gonna like you!" Josie turned to Ruby,

I stood there shocked and confused.. Ruby looked shocked, she ran into the classroom.

"I-..." Josie looked at me, sadly. She then ran back into the classroom.

I sat my milk down by the stream and went back inside the classroom, "What was that about?" asked Anne.

"Uh.. don't worry about it." I smiled at her.

I was doing division, until something was thrown at me.

I looked behind me to see a mad Ruby and a stressed Josie.

Ruby death stared me right into my eyes, I went back to work and continued to do division, I didn't think anything of it.

Until, Ruby pulled my hair back, hard. And you know that one feeling, it makes you really mad once someone does it, and it also hurts.

I set my chalk down, this girl is done for.

I grabbed my slate and turned around, facing Ruby, I smacked her right across her face with my slate.

I managed to slap her quietly. I don't know how but I got away with it.

I heard her little yelp, before I could turn back I saw Josie struggling to keep her laugh in. I smiled at her and she smiled back.

Diana and Cole snickered, I'm guessing they saw the scene.

Anne was in front so she couldn't really see or hear it.

~

After school, it was about to be the time to play Spin The Bottle.

I wanted to apologize to Ruby, because I felt like I had too. I don't think slapping her was necessary I guess..
