Finally, You're Mine - Chapter 10

I couldn't sleep at all, I kept crying and crying.. how could.. my best friend betray me like that.

I was really hungry so I went downstairs, I was gonna get the ingredients until I found out there was nothing.

I groaned to the fact that I'm gonna go and have to get groceries, I went upstairs.

I got some clothes, I didn't feel like wearing a dress so I wore some comfortable clothes.

I brushed my hair and teeth, I went down and got some money.

I walked over there, I went into this little shop. There was a man, he kinda looked like Gilbert. But, I highly doubt it's him.

I got some milk, fruit, bread, bacon, eggs, and stuff like that.

I decided to get the ingredients for my favorite food, I walked to the little shelf, next to where the man was.

"Excuse me, ma'am, do you recommend getting this-" he turned to me, oh god it was Gilbert.

He froze, I did as well. I stuttered and and walked away, I checked out-

I walked away, while Gilbert stood there shocked and awkwardly.

Oh no. I realized that Gilbert was following me, creep. Please no.

I speed walked faster, he eventually caught up. "Y/N, can we please talk." He looked at me with a sympathetic look.

I looked away, still walking. I got to my house and I stopped.

I turned around, "No."

"Please." He whispered, but loud enough for me to hear.

I sighed, crossing my arms. "Come inside." I mumbled.

He walked inside and I led him in my room, I was quiet the whole time because it was pretty awkward.

"Y/N, I'm sorry. Let me explain." He looked at me, I avoided eye contact.

Gilbert held my hands, "While I was getting the tea and scones for us, I saw Ruby. She was the one who kissed me first, I let it happen because I couldn't think of another way to push her off. She had her arms wrapped around me so I couldn't get her off. Again, I'm so sorry.. love." He frowned.

I looked at him, "I forgive you, but I'm still mad at you."

"You can be mad at me all you want, but all I wanted was for you to believe me and forgive me.." Gilbert commented.

"Y/N." He spoke.

He grabbed my face and he smashed his lips against mine, after which felt like an eternity, he separated our lips.

"I.. love you." Gilbert said, wow. So he does love me. I'm just hoping he's not playing with my feelings.

"Gilbert, I love you too." I hugged him, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

We let go, "Y/N, would you like to be mine?" He asked.

My eyes widened. No way this is happening.

I nodded, "Yes, a million times yes." I hugged him tight.

We walked over to Anne's house, she invited us so we can all just hang out.

I brought Gilbert with me, I knocked on the door.

Anne opened it, she smiled at me but her smile faded away once she saw Gilbert.

"Look- me and Gilbert are together now, Anne." I spoke, smiling at Gilbert.

He smiled back, we intertwined our fingers, holding hands.

"Well, whatever makes you happy, Y/N." Anne smiled.

She let us in, "I'm watching you." Anne pointed her two fingers at her eyes, then at Gilbert.

"Yes, ma'am." Gilbert smiled awkwardly.

I giggled, causing the others as well. Except for one..

I saw Ruby. Her smile faded away once she saw us.

It was quite awkward..

I whisper-shouted to Anne, "Why did you invite her." I looked at her.

"It was a mistake!" She whisper-shouted back.

Gilbert scratched the back of his head, gulping.

"Uh.. well, let's begin playing, shall we?" Anne giggled.

Diana wasn't here for some reason.

"Where's Diana?" I asked, "She didn't wanna come. Which was weird." Anne replied.
