Adrian psyched himself up before washing his hands, he left the bathroom and to his surprise the boy was gone.

He let out a laugh of disbelief, he knew it was going to be a long day. After a while, he joined everyone and they started the tour. Laynette and her family showed him around the nine room home. It had 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a home office, a gym, and a home theater.

Every room was well decorated with the same theme and like color schemes. Any room they went to, he was glued to her side by hand holding or arm hooking. He couldn't not touch her, it was subconscious to him until one of her brothers would clear their throat every time he would get handsy with her hoping that it would stop him, it only made him do it more.

As of now, they were sitting at the table, post meal, sharing stories from their childhood.

With the way her brother yelled on the phone, Adrian thought that he and the others would be mean toward him but they've been the complete opposite. Well, they did interrogate him the moment they sat down but after he answered every question smoothly they started being friendly.

He leaned closer to her "I thought you said they would be mean." He said as he reached for his drink.

She gave him a tight smile, "They can speak Spanish as well."

His face flush, causing the men to laugh at him.

"Lay, why you tell him?" Lukas pouted. "I wanted him to find out after he bad mouth us." He teased.

Laynette rolled her eyes then looked at the time "It's getting late." She said "My honey has to go back to his hotel." She frowned as she rubbed his arm.

Adrian frowned as he nodded "That is true. I wish I could stay longer but it seems my time is up."

Landon raised his eyebrow "Hotel?" He fold his arm "why stay there? You can stay here."

The couple froze, they didn't expect this to happen.

They shared a look before turning back to Landon "If you don't mind one more mouth to feed, I'll gladly stay." Adrian tested, to see if he was serious or not.

Laynette furrowed her eyebrows, what the hell was he saying? We didn't plan or agree to this.

Landon noticed her look "What's wrong Lay? You don't want your husband to be here?" He asked with a raise of his eyebrow.

"What? No! I do want him here." She smiled as she looked at Adrian "It's just that his hotel is close to his work and you know how traffic can get here."

Lukas nodded "That is true." He glanced at Adrian "But we're a family now." He smiled "We should get to know one another. How can we do that when we can barely see our brother-in-law?"

Adrian knew the more they refused the more suspicious they would be "I'll stay." He smiled "I just have to grab my items and let management know." He added, the two siblings stared at him in shock, "It's the last moment so I'll need to stay the night and let them know in the morning." He added.

Landon smiled "That's fine with me." He said as he got up to retrieve a sleeping Trey from his chair "Lukas can-"

"No," Laynette cut him off "stay here." She said as she grabbed her car keys "I want to spend some alone time with my husband." She grabbed Adrian's hand "I'll be back."

Before either brother could retort, she quickly led them to the door that sent them to the garage. She closed the door as he stood there assessing the one truck and 3 cars.

"My lovely," he said as he fold his arms, "why didn't you tell me you were rich?"

Laynette side eyed him as she unlocked her 2019 C Class Mercedes Benz "I'm not rich." She dismissed as she passed him to go to her car "Let's go quickly before Lukas pops up." She opened the driver door.
