"There are two people waiting for you here." Landon revealed "I believe they are your parents."

Adrian muttered a few curses before rubbing his forehead "We'll be there quickly." He hung the phone up "Lovely," he turned to her in panic "my parents are at the house." Her eyes widen "We need to get there, now."

She wanted to ask him about his parents but she noticed how he switched to Spanish and saw how nervous he was then thought against it.

Twenty minutes later, she pulled up to their home and parked in the garage, before she could turn the car off Adrian hopped out and made a beeline for the door. He burst through the door, looking around until his eyes settled on his parents who were sitting with Landon and Lukas at the kitchen table.

Everyone came to a halt as they laid their eyes on him

Everyone came to a halt as they laid their eyes on him.

"Mom, Dad" he walked over nervously "What are you doing here?" He asked.

His mom scoffed as she got up "What do you mean what are we doing here?!" She asked incredulously "When you didn't respond to our calls we thought to make way and ask you personally

His mom scoffed as she got up "What do you mean what are we doing here?!" She asked incredulously "When you didn't respond to our calls we thought to make way and ask you personally." She stood in front of him.

Lukas and Landon watched as Adrian's mom started scolding him about the flash wedding and how disappointed she was about it. Adrian's face filled with guilt but he started to argue back.

"I've never seen a mafioso and his wife in the flesh before." Landon muttered.

"Right." Lukas agreed as he held his heart "I almost shit a brick when I came home and saw them sitting at the table." He frowned.

The door opened once again and this time Laynette came in, everyone's eyes went to her except the arguing mother and son.

"Is that the girl?" His father asked, his deep velvety voice startling the three siblings.

Adrian looked behind him and saw Laynette standing there like a deer in headlights.

"Yes." Adrian blocked her sight with his body "She is." He answered.
