"Favorite color?"
"Green." Killian chirped out, rolling onto the floor with a thud.
"Should we let them in now? I think they've finally given up banging on the door when they got yelled at." I let out snort, recalling when Talon and Dustin were told to shut the hell up by a old woman.
"Yeah, let's see if they're still out there or they ran off." Killian said, standing up and stretching.
A small pang of sadness shot through me, fearing that they would be gone. No, they wouldn't leave. Would they?
"Hey, they wouldn't leave." Killian told me, clasping a hand onto my shoulder and shooting me a reassuring smile.
"Well, even if they did, we should get moving." I said sharply, motioning to Killian to get into the drivers seat. "Start it up, I'll get them inside."
"You know," Killian started, turning me around. "That Talon likes the color orange?"
"What was the need for this information?" I asked her, raising an eyebrow. When had they spoke anyways?
"I feel like it should be known. We don't all go to bed at 9, Lu. We usually stay up talking." she shrugged.
I averted my eyes, jealousy sparked in me. Were they better off without me? Would they leave me like my other friends did? No. "Just, keep me up next time. I don't wanna be left out." I muttered, opening the door.
I could feel Killian's stare on my back and I stepped outside, trying to get her to start the RV. "Dusty? Talon?" I called out, my eyes turning to see the two boys sitting against the RV.
"Oh, hey, Queen Bitch." Dustin snapped, standing up and glaring at me.
"Not my fault," I cut off, feeling bad now. "Just, just get inside." I muttered, stepping inside at the RV sprang to life.
I felt stares at my back and I turned around, getting agitated. "What? Is there something you'd all like to say?" I snapped, crossing my arms.
"Are you okay?"
I looked over at Talon, surprised that he had spoken up.
"I'm fine." I muttered, moving into the main room, staring at my bracelet.
"I'm going to get something to eat, Talon, you want something as well?" Dustin called over his shoulder. He stepped into the kitchen and I heard a shriek and cursing.
Bingo.
"What the fuck? Who put—Killi? Lucy?" Dustin roared, glaring at me.
"Wasn't me. Killi suggested it."
"Damn prank war is starting, isn't it." he growled, wringing out his shirt.
Killian burst out laughing from the front, and she hit the gas, jerking everyone forwards.
"Dusty? Why are you all wet? Did you fall into another lake-"
"One time, god dammit. One. Time." Dustin huffed, crossing his arms, face going red.
"Oh, but one time is all that it took." Talon jeered at him, jabbing at his face with a finger.
I stared at the two, watching as Talon actually seemed, god forbid me say it, fun to be around. He was mischievous. Can you believe it? Mischievous! "Wha—"
It seemed like that prank had eased everyone up. Except me.
Talon realized I was staring and he stood up, looking away.
