Chapter 15- Goodbye

After what seems like an eternity, we finally make it to my house. We walk in and I sit on the couch. Kaz immediately gets the first aid kit while Skyler grabs a towel and poured water on it. I have a blackeye, maybe a broken rib because it hurt like hell to walk, probably a dozen bruises, a headache, and lots of cuts. Before Skyler gets over here, she grabs a frozen bag of peas. She places the peas on my eye and Kas works on the big cut that's on my left forearm. I hold the bag of peas on my eye, and Skyler and Kaz step back and look at me. "Are you crazy?!" they yelled in unison, "you could've killed yourself!" I scoff and look at them, "Did you see him? I could've killed him!" "Exactly!" "Were you thinking at all?" Skyler asks. "Yes I was, I was thinking about him touching you. I was think that because of what he did, he deserves to be hurt," I admit. Skyler sighs and sits down next to me. "I'll get you some water," Kaz says leaving. Skyler looks at me, "I was only trying to protect you." She looks into my eyes and kisses my cheek, "I know, thank you." "Your welcome," I say. I caress her cheek with my hand and we stare into each others eyes. I look at her lips and lean in. Our lips touch and a spark ignites in my body. "Hey Oliv- What the?!" We pull away and I see Jordan standing in the door way. "Jordan! What are you doing here?" I ask shocked. "What am I dooms here? What are YOU doing?" She asks hurt. I get up and walk in front of her. To my surprise, a tear rolls down her cheek. I put my hand on her cheek and wipe away the tear with my thumb. I look back and see her hurt also. "Jordan, can we go upstairs and talk?" He nods and starts walking.

I guide her to my room and she sits down on the bed. I close the door and turn to her, "Why?" Jordan squeaks put. "I don't know, but I do know that I am crazy about you," I admit. "Then why did you kiss Connie?" She says standing up. "Because I'm crazy about her also." "Do you love her?" "I-I don't know. But I know that I love you. that's why... I think we need to break up. "Yeah, I think we do," she says. She walks towards me and crashes her lips on mine. We roughly kiss each other, savoring each other's taste, because we both know that it may possibly be our last. We make out until she pushes me away. "I'll miss you so damn much," I say trying to catch my breath. "I'll miss you, too," Jordan says walking to the door. But before she puts her hand on the door knob, I run to her and turn her around. I crash my lips on to her and push her on the door. I don't know why, but I don't want to see her go. I pull away but our bodies are still close. "If you need anything, and I mean anything, call me," she says opening the door. She walks out and I follow her down the stairs. We stop when we are at the front door. She turns around and runs her hand through my hair. She leans in and we kisses my one last time. This kiss is gentle, but full of passion. She pulls away and stares into my eyes, "Goodbye, Oliver."
