Chap 13- Skyler!

"Skyler?" I say. I rub my eyes because I thought I must be seeing things. But no, it really is Skyler. "Hi Oliver," she says. I pick her up and swing her around. I hear her giggling and I just can't believe Skyler is actually here!!!!

I put her down and look at her, "Skyker what are you doing here? I thought you were in a coma?!" I ask. "Well, I woke up today and I thought that I would come and see you," she replies with a beautiful smile on her face. I hug her so tightly because I just can't believe she woke up.

I pull away and crash my lips on to her and she immediately started kissing back. I wrap my arms around her waist and she wraps her arms around my neck. I just can't believe that MY Skyler finally woke up!

I kiss her until I run out of breath and pull away. I hug her one last time and look into her eyes. "Well that's a nice way to say hello" she says giggling. "I just so glad your really here!" I tell her. "You know what, since this is the day you woke up... Skyler, will you go to dinner with me tonight?" I ask her. "Oliver I would love to," she answers. "Good because this would've been very awkward if you said no," I joke. She laughs and I couldn't help myself from kissing her. "Will you chill out on making out with me all the time?" She chuckles. "Nope!" I say kissing her again. I hear a knock on the door and quickly pull away from Skyler. I see Skyler with a disappointed look on her face but I just ignore it and yell out "Who is it?" "Jordan!" I hear back. Skyler huffs out air and crosses her arms. The door opens and in comes in Jordan. "Jordan! Hey babe!" I say very guilty cause I was just cheating on my girlfriend. I walk over and kiss her. I didn't have to turn around to see Skyler's face to know that she's hurt right now. "Oh wow. Hey Connie, how are you," Jordan says. "Just peachy," Skyler says clenching her teeth. "Ok? So Oliver why don't we go on a date tonight like dinner or something?" Jordan asks me. I look over at Skyler and I can see that Skyler is about hurt Jordan, "Sorry babe, since Connie just woke up, is it ok if I take Connie out tonight like a celebration that she's ok?" I really hope Jordan says yes. "I guess that ok, alright then bye Ollie," Jordan kisses me and walks out.

I turn around to face Skyler and she looks like she's about burst. "Hey are you ok?" I ask her. "Yeah, just fine," she replies. "So Skyler, would you do the honor of letting me take you to a dinner tonight at 7?" I hope she says yes. "Of course," she says. Before I started thinking I jumped up in the air and yelled out "YES!" She giggled and started walking towards me. She kissed me on the cheek and walked out. I walked up to my room and sat in my chair. I was about to start playing a video game till I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out to find that I received a texted message from Skyler.

Hey Oliver. I can't wait till tonight. I thought that I'd meet you at your house at 6:55 or something. See you then ;)

I play games for a while then I looked at my clock. It's already 6 so I decided to start getting ready. I thought that I would "dress up" tonight for Skyler so I put on some pants, a white
dress-shirt, a black suit-jacket thing that rolled up on the sleeves, and a black watch. I think I actually look pretty awesome. I look at my watch and see that it's 6:30 so I put on some cologne and walk downstairs. I'm all done getting ready so I turn on the tv and sit on the couch.

After a few minutes of watching, the door bell rings. I walk over and open the door. I saw Skyler and my breath was taken away. She was wearing a purple lace dress and her hair was down. She looked amazing. "Uh, Oliver?" Skyler says. "Oh sorry, it's just that you look so beautiful," I tell her. She starts to blush and looks at the ground. I put my finger under her chin and lift her face up so that she's looking into my eyes. "You are so beautiful, don't ever hide your face because you are the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen," I say. That even made her blush even more. "Ready?" I say bending my arm so she'll take it. "Ready," she hooks her arm around mine and we start walking to the restaurant.

As we are walking to the restaurant we have to pass by the park. While we are there a few guys are sitting on a bench all talking. One of them, I guessing the leader, walks up to us and checks out Skyler. I see his eyes rack up and down Skyler's body and all I want to do is punch him in the gut. "Hey sexy, why don't you ditch this dork and come to the hotel I'm staying at for a good time?" He asks her. "1st of all, no way would I ever go with a douche like you and 2) I'd always pick a sweet, caring, funny, handsome guy like Oliver over you any day," she says. "Oh come on, one night?" he persuades. He puts an arm on her waist and pulls her close. I pushed his arm off of Skyler and shoved him away. "Alright, fine if that's the way you want to handle things," he swings at me but manage to dodge his fist. I grab his arm, pull it towards me and punch his face. I apparently did it really hard because he fell down on the ground and his nose started bleeding. I hear Skyler gasp and I look at her. She looks at me with her mouth open. "Come on Skyler let's go," I grab her waist and pull it to me and we start walking again.

"How did you do that?"

We got there and I rushed up to the door to open it for her. "Wow, thank you Oliver," she says. "Your welcome." We walk up to the seater-person behind desk. It was a woman who looked to be around 19 or 20. I say that I'd like a table for 2. "Oh, I see you two are on a date," this time I don't correct her, neither does Skyler. "You two look really cute together, I bet I can just make a few adjustments to the chart and squeeze you two into a table," she says and walks away. She then comes back a few seconds later, "Your table is right this way," she starts leading us to our table and we quickly follow. "Here you are," she puts down menus and walks away. "So, how are you, what happened?" I ask. "Well, it was magical. I wish you were there though," she says. "Your right, I'm so stupid I should've visited. I'm so sorry Skyler," I apologize. "What? Why are you apologizing? You didn't know I would've woken up so it's not your fault." "Yeah your right," I say.

The waiter came back and we ordered our food. I ordered spaghetti while Skyler got chicken noodle soup with a side of pasta.

"Wow, this is really good," she says slurping on a noodle. "You know your really cute," I complement her. She looks down and blush, "awe thanks Oliver, to be honest you look so handsome." As I began eating again I just remembered I left the stove on from earlier today. "Crap," I mumble under my breath. "Is everything ok?" Skyler asks. "Uh, I'm sorry Skyler but I left the stove on in my house and we have to go and turn it off," I say. "Oh ok, that's fine," she flags down the waiter and asks for boxes for the food.

Once we have our food I pay for dinner and we walkout. We pass the park and see those stupid guys but fortunately they didn't see us. We make it home and walk in. I walk to the kitchen and turn off the stove. "Ok, it's turned off," I say. "Great," Skyler said. "Look, Skyler, I'm sorry I made is leave the restaurant. How about we eat here," I say pointing to the dinner table. "Ok, fine," she walks over and sits down. I light some really romantic candles all around the room. I walk back over to the table and sit down. "You know that you are so gorgeous tonight?," I complement. "Yes," she jokes. I reach over and move some of her hair behind her ear. I lean over and put my lips on her velvety soft lips. I feel the spark that only she can ignite. I pull away and walk over to her not breaking my stare. She stands up and I wrap my arms around her waist. I lean in and kiss her passionately. I pull away and look at her, "Would you like to dance?" I ask her. She smiles, "I'd love to."

I put on some music and put my arm to the small of her back while my other hand stuck out to side. She put one hand on my shoulder and rested her other hand on top of mine. We dance and I couldn't help but think she is so beautiful. She is who I love, not Jordan. Jordan is amazing, don't get me wrong, but with Skyler it's like I'm above the clouds. She makes me feel something I've never felt before. I choose Skyler.
