Chap 10- Are you ok?

When I was pushed out of the hospital room I couldn't take it anymore, I need to be there with Skyler. I was tying to go back in but many doctors told me to just go sit down in the waiting room. So I just stopped trying and went to the waiting room.

A lot of thoughts kept swirling around in my head. I she ok? What is happening? Will I see her again? All I need to do is see her again. I need Skyler. I can't live with out her. As I was thinking the doctor finally came out of the room to come and talk to me. I ran up to him, "How is she doctor?" "Well we thought she was ok-" "Wait, she not ok?!" I started to freak out. "Oh she's ok it's just she's in a coma. We know it's temporary and the longest that she should be in it is around 2 weeks to 2 months," he explained, "well maybe even longer. But you can go in and see her if you wan-" I cut him off by running to her room. Once I walk into the room I immediately regret it because when I walk in I see Skyler's lifeless body. She here but she's not really here. If you get what I'm saying.

I walk to where my chair was and sit down. I grabbed her hand and just held it. "Hey Skyler, if you can hear me just squeeze my hand. Come on, I know you can do it. Please Skyler," I started out talking but ended up whispering the last part.

Skyler's POV
(Back when she was walking out of Oliver's house)

"Ok Oliver, I'm tired I think I should go," I said. "Yeah me too," Kaz interjected. "Alright, you guys need some sleep. I'll see you two tomorrow," Oliver said getting up from where he was sitting. We all walked over to the door, "Bye Oliver," Kaz turned around and walked out the door. "Bye Oliver, I'll see you tomorrow," I tell him. Then I give him a hug and walked outside following Kaz. As I was walking bright light shined on me. Then I saw two headlights heading straight for me. The last thing I remember was Kaz running to me, picking me up and taking me to the hospital. Then black surrounded my vision.

Oliver's POV

I miss her so much. A tear rolled down my cheek and landed on one of the sheets on the bed.

A knock on the door kicked me out of my thoughts. I look back and see Kaz. "Hey buddy, how you doing?" He asks. "Not good," is all I reply. Kaz pulls up a chair next to me and sits in it. "Everything's going to be alright. Just be thankful that her injuries are not life threatening. "Yeah but how can I be thankful when I don't have Skyler in my arms. I miss her," I tell him. "Hey I miss her too but there's nothing we can do about it but hope," he says. "Come on, it's late. I don't want you here moping around. Let's go home," Kaz says getting up. I was going to argue with him but I new he was right. I get up and kiss Skyler's forehead. "Until the next day, beautiful," I follow Kaz as we make our way to our houses.

Once Kaz starts walking in the direction to his house, I get a text from Jordan.

Hey babe, I got a text from Kaz telling me all about Connie. That's really unfortunate. I hope she's ok. If you want I can come over and cheer you up?

I text her back,
No it's ok. I kind want to be alone right now. But I promise I'll make it up to you. See you at school. Goodnight.

Ok, goodnight Oliver.

I walk into my house and make my way to my room. I start thinking of ways to make it up to Jordan. I couldn't think of anything so I just went to sleep.
