Nailea watched as the moon and stars disappeared from view and the sun rose as the air all around became humid. She was the only one awake other than the people who supposedly rescued them. They told her that they were going to land soon. Gently, she brushed Sonya's hair out of her face. The cool breeze that passed last night seemed to have affected her hair. She whispered softly in the blonde girls's ear.

"Sonya? You need to get up." She started to stir from her sleep before smiling and answering me softly. "Okay, I'm up." Though, she didn't budge. Nailea moved on to Harriet while she let the blonde take her time on waking up.

"Harriet, it's time to get up." Her words just as soft as they were when she awoke Sonya. A sleepy looking Harriet smiled in response and nodded but just like Sonya, she doesn't move. "Aris? We gotta get up." He didn't respond but she could tell he was awake. Again, not budging from her shoulder. 'These lazy lanks.' She thought.

Most of the other girls woke up on their own, the rest who were still in a blissful sleep were awoken by their friends.

Nailea then felt the helicopter go descend to the ground. She realized the three were still laying on her and after a lot of shaking, whispers and shoulder taps, they unwillingly got up. Once they landed, the suspicious people made them run to a building rushing them in the process. While Nailea was running, she saw the horrifyingly familiar cranks.

They were exactly how she remembered them, still disgustingly dirty. It briefly reminded her of the time she met people in an abandoned city, they kindly helped the girl when she got surrounded by hoard of cranks.

Nailea was cornered. Seconds ago, she tried to put a can of corn in her bag. Accidentally, the stupid can of corn slipped out of the bag, causing it to fall and make a loud noise which led all the cranks right to her.

She was able to fight off more than half of the cranks but that didn't mean she wouldn't get tired. Nailea was ready to swing a piece of glass at a crank before she heard a car engine.

Before she knew it, most of the cranks were ran over.

They introduced themselves and gave her a ride to a less infested part of the city. When she got out, she thanked them.

"That was impressive, Hermana. You sure you don't wanna join us? We could use a fighter like you, y'know?"

"I work best alone, but thank you." Nailea smiled and bowed her head as a show of respect before walked away, back to the lonely, miserable life that others call lucky.

She snapped out of her trance by a familiar face that was awaiting them on the other side of the tall metal doors. She vividly remember his face being on a poster for W.C.K.D as well. With a nasty smirk that could only mean trouble.

Janson.
