We stood at the end of my mother's grave and Marshall hasn't said a word since we got here. Maybe this was a mistake and is very overwhelming for him to be here... I know it was stupid but, in my head, I introduced him to my mum. Lately, I've been thinking if my mum ever knew who he was before she passed... Marshall had just released 'The Marshall Mathers LP' when she died but he was around for a bit already and had performed in the UK even. And he was so controversial, that my mum had definitely heard of him... But I would never know!

Do ya think yo' mother knew who I was? Marshall asked out of the blue, which startled me because I was just thinking the same thing.

I don't know... She lived in Scotland until 2000 and I don't know if you were popular on the countryside! I chuckled.

Imagine that she heard of me like on the radio or sum'thing an' she thought to herself "God forbid my dear daughter to find a man so grotesque as this one!". He placed his hand over his heart.

I laughed at his impression of my mum. Well, if that happened... I turned to my mum. I'm sorry mum, but a found THEE grotesque man!

That isn't as grotesque as he used to be! He leaned forward to talk to her.

Uhm, I don't know about that... Marshall turned to me with a gasp.

Yeah, ya probably right! He turned again to my mum. But I promise I'll never be grotesque to her... He swinged his arm around my shoulder. I showed him a smile. Unless if she asks me too...! He wiggled his eyebrows.

Oh my god! I smacked him. Not here!

He apologised still laughing and then we made our way out of the cemetery.

Since you talked 'bout Scotland... He gained my attention. What do ya say to going there? Visit yo' parents' house?

I squeezed his hand. I'd love to! It's been awhile since I've been there!

Cool! Marshall stopped. 'Cus I talked to yo' dad this morning an' he warned the housekeepers that we are expected to arrive AND we have a jet ready fo' us to leave!

I stared at him dumbfounded waiting for him to say it was a joke. I laughed. Wait... You're serious?

Yep! He balanced on his feet back and forth with his hand on the pants pockets.

You want to go to Scotland... Now?

Yes, Ana Ray! Now! And we have a flight waitin' fo' us! He walked to my side and stuck out his arm. Shall we, madame?

I grabbed his arm and instantly he started to walk.

1 hour later, Marshall's private plane landed in Glasgow, my birthland. This time, we really had to rent a car so I could drive to my mother's house.

Are ya excited to visit yo' old house? Marshall said on the side of me.

Yes... Yes, I am! I smiled. I have to confess that this is not how imagined our day to go but... I'm pretty excited! I began to recognise the views around us.

When was the last time ya came here?

5 years ago, maybe... After I graduated uni! I began to remember. Me and Fred wanted to relax a bit, so we came here!

Damn! That motherfucker came here first... I chuckled to his reaction. Why you laughing?! He looked annoyed.

Because you are acting like a teenager!!
