I hurried out of the Butterfly Estate as quickly as I could. Shinobu was always a nice person to talk to but when it involved anything medical, there was a twisted side of her.
A shiver ran down my spin, "I can only imagine how far she would go if Master gave her full permission to run experiments. Luckily it's just my blood." I glance down at where she took my blood, only to catch something black landing in the corner of my eye.
My crow was staring down at me from one of the buildings. "Yes?" It opened its wings and began to fly around me, letting me know I needed to follow. And so I did.
It was flying a little far ahead, fast enough where I only had to walk. I noticed everyone else's crows spoke to them but mine never uttered a word. Doesn't even announce its presence by cawing. Lands and waits for me to notice it.
I look ahead and notice we were approaching the Master's home. I smiled softly 'I wonder if this means he has a mission for me?' I couldn't help but feel excited. I haven't been given a mission due to the lack of trust. In fact, that boy and demon girl have been sent on plenty of missions!
Mister Rengoku was kind enough to take me in and train me. Discovering my blood demon art and how to fight with my weapon.
*Flashback*
"Bravo y/n! To think your blood demon art can shape into a weapon!" Rengoku walked around the young girl, admiring the weapon she had created. "The shape is odd though! But a fine weapon! It suits you well"
The girl looks up at what she had created. "But sir...a scythe...? I was imagining a nichirin blade or duel blades or anything but a scythe?" Rengoku closed his eyes in thought.
"Indeed the weapon you have created is unusual but I believe your demon art knows something you don't." He harshly hits the girl's back, causing her to stumble forward "Without a doubt, you'll do great things y/n!"
*end of flashback*
With Rengoku gone, I became more determined to train. Train enough to be good enough to help. And now, it is my time to shine.
