My Little Lily (Gyutaro x reader)

Chapter Six

Waking up cold was the worst thing I could have ever done. But what was worse, waking up cold and surrounded by bones.

I attempted to scream but nothing but a muffle could be heard. 'The hell?!' Not only was my mouth covered by rope, my hands and feet were also tied.

"I see you're finally awake" I jumped at the sudden voice and looked around. No one was around. Someone cleared their throat, causing me to look up. It wasn't a someone, it was a something.

There was a sash throughout the entire cave, from one corner to another. The sash had a strange design of sleeping women. Something about it gave me chills, the women looked too real...as if they were....

Alive.

At the end of the sash was a face of sorts, just eyes and a mouth. She was smirking down at me. "Admiring my work?" The sash moved around freely, approaching one of the many women "I only accept the most beautiful and lucky within me."

My eyes widened in fear "they get stored within me until I decide to have a little snack" I started straining against the rope 'I need to escape' I was looking around for anything and the only thing I found was a small opening at the top. Nobody would be able to fit through that!

"Finding a way out?" The sash was right in my face "only one who can fit through that tiny hole is me!" She erupted in an eerie laughter, giving me a creepy grin only for her to frown.

"There's no point in struggling. Gyutaro tied those ropes himself. And where will you go if you manage to get out?" She has a point. I look up at the ceiling then back to the sash.

She got close to my face, she managed to slither between the rope around my mouth and yank it down. She pulled away, like she did me a huge favor. "There! Now we can have a real conversation!" But she immediately got upset with my first question.

"Do you...ever absorb demons?" She scoffs "why do you want to know?!" She turns away "of course I don't! They're disgusting! Nothing about them is beautiful or tasty!" She continued ranting on but this last bit caught my attention.

"And they are still conscious within me, so all they do is move around until they leave" the sash seemed to quiver at the thought "I hate when Gyutaro uses me to travel" I quirked an eyebrow and her eyes widened.

"You didn't hear a thing!" A sash was immediately wrapped around my neck, gasping for air and panicking. I couldn't reach for my neck to pry her away.

A hand yanked the sash down, the hold around my neck being released. I quickly caught my breath as I stared at the ground.

"Muzan will be here in a few days and you already want to kill her...." That voice. That eerie voice that sends shivers down my spin.

I glance up. Speaking of spins, I was able to see his without a problem. His spine looked like it would pop out of his skin any second. 'This man needs to eat more I swear to god....'

"It's not fair! She's asking too many questions!" He tilts his head to the side, grunting quietly for her to continue. The face on the sash turns away.

"Well...she asked what I absorb!! And....and...." She went quiet. Gyutaro spoke up "and that was enough to kill her?" He turns his head slightly, staring me down with those green eyes.

I wanted to keep the eye contact but looked away. Remembering that he doesn't like the attention. But something seemed different. He turned to face me completely, slowly approaching and stopping in front of me. I could see his feet, but didn't dare look at him again.
