On Saturday I woke up at 6 a.m. and climbed downstairs to have a one hour sweet chat with my parents before leaving for my picnic. With everything else, I took a bag of advice and instructions as well. Mom hugged me and dad patted me on my back. Then slowly I started to get dressed up and kept the snacks in my bag. I waved a big bye to my parents before leaving. I travelled on my cycle which grandpa gifted me on my 6th birthday. I knew the shortcut for the park as I visited it several times. I took about five minutes to reach the park. I was the first to reach there in the park and it was around 7:30 a.m.
One by one all of my friends arrived and we sat at one corner of the entrance gate. The surrounding was full of peace, birds' chirping and colourful flowers. I felt very soothing and played a soft mind relaxing music on my phone.
