Great: another foster home. I wrote in my journal that my grandmother gave me for my thirteenth birthday. It's weird that it seems like it was only a month ago when really it was two years ago. Almost three. "CASSIE MS. CARMEN'S HERE!!" My little brother, Isaac yells at me from the doorway of Mr. Tang's, our 'default caregiver and family picker' as we call him house. I wish he'd just let us go to Grandma Marsha's place permanently. She's not as abusive as he tells us and she's the only one in our family that cares about us still. She's funny and silly and we feel most at home there. According to the law, "we can only see her twice a month and on special occasions like birthdays and other holidays." I personally feel like that's one of the most unfair things in the world. As soon as I turn eighteen, you'd better believe that I'm taking Isaac and leaving and we'll take care of ourse-- "CASSIE!!! I SAID ITS TIME TO GOOO!!!!!!" "GOD ISAAC I'M COMING!!! KEEP YOUR BIG BOY UNDIES ON AND ACT LIKE THE ELEVEN YEAR OLD I KNOW YOU ARE!!!"
